ahh, good theory problem...
let's see, there's energy, friction, force (normal, tension, as well as the other ones mentioned), gravitation, mass, pendulum motion, gotta be more that I've missed, but no doubt someone'll be here to correct me.

Dear lord, its been years since highschool but I here it goes. Basically, all of Newtons Laws of motion apply here. You did specifically say motion.

Primarily I would go with his 3rd law. The whole action = opposite reaction thing. You push, it moves. Gravity makes you come back, cintrifical force is there somewhere.

Second law I cant remember how it applies but it does.

And first, well duh u remain in motion until forces act upon u to slow you down or speed you up.

It's been a longtime, but I think I'm close to right here?

Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Also gravity and friction are factors as well.

I would say conservation of energy. But gravity and friction are also factors.
