Or do they close it off for security concerns? We went there on Saturday and you could see the launch pad with 5 miles.The external fuel tank was on the pad. It was so visable and clear. So we want to go back there again on July 1 for the shuttle launch. Is the Merrit Island Wild Life reserve open that day?

I do not intend to suggest filling the entire vacuum of outer space. I am just asking if I was somehow able to “colonize” a tiny portion of outer space with oxygen, would the “sky” still be black or would it be blue like it is here on Earth?

I work as an elevator constructor. part of an installation involves installing a steel tape the entire length of the shaft. it is very thin (imagine steel duct tape) and is under spring tension to keep it from moving too much. when at the top of the shaft i pulled the tape and sent a wave down the tape. it distinctly bounces up and down the entire length of the shaft a few times and makes a really wierd star wars like sound. it starts out high pitch but ends as a low bass rumble. is the sound based on the length of the tape before and after the wave? almost like frets on a guitar? also i was wondering if the wave moves faster on the way down and slower up due to gravity?

R2. Does a large maximum altitude mean that the projectile is in the air a long time?
Explain why or why not. If possible, give an example of a situation in which the
maximum height is large, but the projectile does not spend very much time in the air.

I can't get these type of problems. I need these in the most simplistic terms possible please. Thanks so much!!!!!

Calculate the volume of .23M sulfuric acid that would be needed to neutralize 146 mL of a 1.72 M aqueous ammonia solution. The equation for the reaction is H2SO4 + 2 NH3 --> 2 NH4 +SO4-2

Calculate the concentration of an aqueous KCl solution if 584 mL of the solution gives 16.9 g of AGCl when treated with excess AgNO3. The equation for the reaction is
KCl + AgNO3 --> AgCl + KNO3

A salt solution is evaporated to dryness. If 51.7 g of the solution leaves 1,725 mg of dry salt, what is the percent concentration (w/w) of the salt in the solution?
Thanks so much for any help!

I downloaded Google earth and it is fantastic, but there are still - I think - a lot of interestin places like Cancun (Mexico) which is in a very bad quality. Maybe the satelites are not working well? It would be nice to find somebody who works in google earth and tell him to work on putting better quality there.
Another question by the way: Exist something like google earth, but with real, live images (so you could see even cars driving there)? Or only the FBI / CIA / NASA uses this?
