i don't know, i usually have to wait till the storm is over then my satellite will work again. u know the clouds is what causes the signal to go out.

i HATE when that happens, good movie playin-tv goes out

Only if you are near a tall transmission tower but then there's the danger of lightining strikes.

Switch to cable... so far is the only way to fix the problem...

Nope, get cable and you wont have to worry about it anymore.. Our cable NEVER goes out...

spray pam cooking spray on it it helps really
