On a recent drive through Iowa, I saw a field of windmills, and only a few of the windmills were turning, although the wind was hitting them all at the same angle. So can you turn them off? Or flip a switch to keep them from turning? Why would they have that?

What is the limit as x approaches + infinity of (√4x^2-1) / x^2

My book says that if the degree of numerator and denominator are equal, the limit of the rational function is the ratio of the leading coefficients.
I think the limit is (√4) / 1 = 2 am I correct?

Why do they not understand what continental drift is, what tectonic plates are? why are they so hesitant to learn how rocks (continents move). Why do they assume continental "drift" means they float? And why won't they get any information from anyone with an education and credibility? hmm?

Sheep, cows and horses eat the same green grass, how can the end result be so different????? Sheep-little black pellets, cows-big, brown patties, horses-big, round solid apples???? Pigs don't enter into the equation.
