As long as it is unopened it should be fine. The only problem that could occur is is something got into the water, otherwise you would be fine.

If the water is pure it will never go bad. It is the bacteria that gets into the water that destroys. If you have pure water sealed tightly in a purified container and it is refrigerated or frozen it will not go bad.
If it is exposed to sun for a while it while not keep.

The water I get out of the faucet in my town goes bad after about 5 or 6 hours. It starts to taste stale and nasty. Our water service sucks, and what especially sucks about is the fact that we pay about $64.00 a month for it. I think I should talk to our city leaders about it.

According to Crystal geyser Drinking water, the shelf life of unopened drinking water is 2 years. Although they also state if the water is untampered with and unopened it should remain drinkable indefinitly.

I think water gets good. I heard if you left tap water sitting on your counter for a day it is more pure, I guess because all the sediment and chemicals sit at the bottom?

water does not go bad unless you store it for a very long time. If it is store for a long time without proper treatment, it starts to grow algae. If you keep it frozen or refrigerated, it will be fine.
