The content of a tenth grade math course depends primarily on the school and the student. In NY the usual tenth grade curriculum is Geometry which includes proofs, transformations, circles, similar and congruent triangles, circles and properties of quadrilaterals to name a few. If the student is Accelerated, then they would take Algebra 2 / Trig.
