If I have a box with 64 cubic feet of space, how do I figure out how many of certain type of object fit inside this space? For instance how many surfboards that are 6’8” Long X 19 1/4” Wide X 2 1/2” deep would fit? Or how many soccer balls at 27” round would fit?

Consider the dissolution of CaCl2.

CaCl2(s) --> Ca2+(aq) + 2 Cl-(aq) (Delta)H = -81.5 kJ

A 13.2 g sample of CaCl2 is dissolved in 119 g of water, with both substances at 25.0°C. Calculate the final temperature of the solution assuming no heat lost to the surroundings and assuming the solution has a specific heat capacity of 4.18 J/°Cg.

Please tell me about the various oppurtunities available for both branches.Jobs, further studies,et al.Some people said that mechatronics is a narrow field for study at the undergrad level.Is this true?Also,does it incorporate topics of study of both electronics and mechanical engineering or just an overview of both.I'm just afraid that if it includes only overviews I'll end up not knowing both of them. Please tell me which branch is better.

I am retired mechanical engineer from India now in USA on a short visit. I wrote several articles on natural calamity .Understanding its behaviors it self will save the people. The articles can be translated in their local language to educate the people. My design of safety equipments were appreciated by several scientists in India. The quake alarm designed by me that differs in its concept and construction can be manufactured just for US $ 25. Even a poor person can fix it in their house to save the life during earthquake. It has proved its capability in several occasions including on the day of Tsunami. Who will join with me to take it to the people world wide? I am working for the safety of the people and not for the money... By A.Ganapathy . India
