Trying to Conceive - March 2007

i know its all about hcg, but do levels differ amongst women? ok, i took a clearblue easy test thursday late afternoon....negative. friday morning still no period and no signs of it either. Heres the full story, we had sex the day i ovulated, and actually days before and a few after as well. A few days before i'm supposed to get my period i was having some very painful cramps...stop you in your tracks kind of pain...which is odd, i never have cramping but they lasted about 2 days on and off. I have been fine since but no period. I've tracked my cycle daily on my monthly cycles for the last 2 and a half years and havent done anything different this past month than any other, except sex, (he usually pulls out.) We have a 3 year old boy and 1 year old girl. Could the sex throw my period off? I've never been this late except once i was 5 days late...i had a horsebackriding accident and needed surgery, the trauma threw me off, but that was 2 years ago.

My younger sister has a 3 yr old, my even younger brother and his fiancee just recently got pregnant. They can't financially take care of their unborn child and has asked us if we would like to adopt it. Can they just sign their parental rights over to us without getting lawyers involved and spending all that money? She is debating over whether or not to have an abortion. I believe that the baby should have a chance at life. Should I even concider this or should I just keep trying to concieve on my own? The doctor's say that I am normal that sometimes women don't have periods. My overies are ok, I had a sonogram. What can I do to get pregnant we have been trying for about a year and a half now? Is there a certain position you need to be in to get pregnant easier? I have a lot of questions but I really want a baby. Please help

Hi Ladies,

Has anyone else gone through any kind of crazy cycle patterns like this? I was 28 days FOREVER then after my November cycle it all changed here is what it was:

November 6th - Normal 3-4 day period

December 4th - Normal 3-4 day period

December 31st - way weird 3 days light spotting (only needed pantyliner) Dr said was ok as long as next period was normal

January 22nd - normal 3 - 4 day

February 12th - Normal 3-4 day

Nothing since February 12th. I thought I would have one on Monday March 5th. Do not feel like testing as I do not think I am pregnant, but these cycles have been weird. Thought ok that is a few cycles of 21 days my body is just changing. But bam all messed up again. Anyone have ideas?

***I am not really TTC actively we just have a whatever happens, happens attitude. I am just looking to see if others have experienced crazy sporadic stuff like this***
***Yesterday I thought I was going to start as I had a few tinges of brown when I wiped*

Ok, I dont need to be told that you can get pregnant anytime a guy gets inside a girl because thats quite obvious but my question is this...if he isnt all the way in, is it still easy to get pregnant, because we are trying but cant get all the way in...I prop my bottom up for a half hour after EVERY time we do it (we do it every other day) and im just wondering if the sperm will still be able to get where they need to go in this case? I also know there is ALOT of sperm each time but a bunch runs out after the half hour I lay down and then stand up, is this ok? Also, how much should I be propping myself up, like 1 pillow or 2, how much?? We are also using ky-jelly, anyone gotten pregnant using ky-jelly?We just want to do everything the right and best way in order to get pregnant (without obsessing over it, of course) Thanks to all.

ok guys i have a question say you are trying for a baby 2 weeks before you start your period .... with in that two weeks can you take a pregnancy test and find out if your pregnant or not like the first response test "5 days before your missed period" or will it be to early and do you need to wait until next month

im 8 days late. .and thought i was having symptoms of being pregnant. .like bloating,burping a lot/gas, acne break out that i usually dont get,and last night at work i even felt so sick like i was goin to pass out or something, but yesterday i took a test and it said a light light negative so i took another first thing this morning and it was a clear neg. what are the chances i still could be pregnant and it wont show til later?? thanks guys. .

Cervical Mucus .................. Check
LH surge...............................Check
dull cramping........................Check

We're having sex every alternate day now and trying to concieve. Wish me luck!!!!!!!!!!!! Is there anyone else out there ovulating right now? How are you feeling? Whats going through your head. I'm so excited, I can barely sit still. I do so hope I concieve!!!!!!!!!!!!!

has anyone had signs which were the opposite to their usual period signs, but then found out they were pregnant? basically my period is due 1 week today. we have been trying for a baby for 8 months. every month i have at least 7 days spotting before my period (i've had this checked by my doc and she's not concerned!) and 3-4 days after ovulation my breasts hurt so much i can't touch them. i haven't had any of this yet. i'm having strange mild cramps and tingly fluttery feelings in my breats (sorry tmi) but no pain and no spotting. i've also had a headache for 4 days and strange mild back pain. what do you think my chances are? i know it's too early to test just interested in any thoughts? thanks

A little more then a year ago my husband and I decided to stop using protection and try to have a baby. Now i think i am not able to have kids because i am still not pregnant. I thought it would be easy because everyone on my moms side got pregnant easy , and on accident. So since the rest of family is so fertile, does that mean i have a problem? I really dont want to go to the doctor, so just checking

I am trying to get pregnant. I have a regular 31 day cycle and predicted my optimum day of the 6th March 2007, my 17th day of cycle. I did an OPK on the 5th which showed me I had detected my LH surge. I had Intercourse on the 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th of March. Had I covered all bases. My husband was a bit concerned that having sex every day may diminish to quality of the semen. Any advice?

I have asked this question a couple of times but the answers and feedback i am getting havent really been helpful. Ok i have been having a lot of symptoms lately and my period is not due until the 17th of this month but i have been throwing up a lot its not always just a sudden urge but the slightest gross things make me want to barf (i have never been like this before) my breasts are slightly sore but this is a sign i get before my period also, every once in awhile i will go to the bathroom and a white and clear discharge will come out , it is kind of gross looking like a booger, i dunno what all of this means but for the past week i have been really uncomfortable, sleeping A LOT and always wanting to lay down and relax if you have any feed back or answers that can help please do i am definetly trying to have a baby but i know this is not in my head please help. oh also i forgot to add in that i had a miscarriage last month wen i left it was ruled out complete will this have an affect

TTC.....I am on day 31 of my cycle I have irregular periods and for the last 8 days I have had a thick dark brown discharge and today a little discomfort in my lower right abdomen... Is this implantation bleeding or something else. Will a pregnancy test be true if I take it tomorrow morning???

I always start my period on Thurs between 12 and 2 pm.... I always follow this pattern: Thurs afternoon, dark brown spotting...Fri, Sat, Sun Heavy flow, Mon..dark brown spotting and then done. We have been TTC and this month we tried pre~seed for the first time. We had sex on days 10, 11, 12, 14, 16 of my cycle and I ovulated between day 13 and 14. I have had no real symptoms to speak of... just a few headaches and my temps have been up. Last night I woke up around 11pm with a pinching feeling in my lower right abdomen. When I went to the bathroom I found pink when I wiped. I thought it was weird because I am so regular and wasn't expecting until the next day but I went on with my normal routine and put in a tampon. This morning there was barley anything on it and all day long I have only had a tiny bit of pink stringy mucus and have had pinching only on the right side. Also, my temps are still up. Anyone had this before? Do you think its just a weird period or maybe implantation?
