At 8 days late a home pregnancy test should be pretty accurate either way, but there have been false negatives recorded.

Sometimes anxiety over hoping to be pregnant or being fearful of being pregnant causes your hormones to go haywire and do strange things to your body.

To set your mind at rest, make an appointment with your doctor for a beta hCG blood test - and try to relax!

You absolutely could still be pregnant. Every woman's HCG levels (which is the hormone that increases when you are pregnant) are different. I took two tests (also depends on the type of test you are taking, I like Early Response) and they were negative, and finally by the third it came out positive. But of course, the best way is to go to the doctor's and have them confirm! Very quick and easy! Good luck!

Thers is a chance that you are,You might have ovulated later and not have enough hcg for the test to be positive, either wait a few days and test again or see a dr. for a blood test

with my son i took 2 tests that were negative and the third test said it positive..........go to your dr. and have them give you a test............the hormone that the test check for in some women doesn't become apparent until later...........so good luck

get a blood test.... it's more accurate.

Bodies change too.... periods can be delayed due to MANY reasons... and all the other symptoms... as well.
