From all the research I have read, there is no evidence that miscarriages are heriditary. However, by my experience and others' experiences, I have found that heriditary factors do play a part in miscarriages.....and not only by the woman's mother, but in part from the man's mother as well. The best advice I have for you if miscarriages are in your family is find an OB doctor who tests EARLY and will perform early ultrasounds if there seems something is wrong. Some doctors are MUCH more proactive than others.

General miscarries are not hereditary, as miscarriages happen for a myriad of reasons. But if your mom had medical problems that are hereditary, and passed on to you, then it is possible you could miscarry due to those medical problems.

I think it depends on why your mom miscarried and if she successfully carried a baby to term (without invitro, surrogacy etc).
My friend's mom had multiple miscarriages and has 2 children now.
The more you stress about miscarriage while you are pregnant or trying to conceive, the more likely you are not to get pregnant/miscarry.

My mom had 2 miscarriages, and I had 1. It really depends on what god has in mind for you.
I also have 2 healthy boys!
