TTC.....I am on day 31 of my cycle I have irregular periods and for the last 8 days I have had a thick dark brown discharge and today a little discomfort in my lower right abdomen... Is this implantation bleeding or something else. Will a pregnancy test be true if I take it tomorrow morning???

You should take a pregnancy test to see if you are pregnant or not because if you are you need to be checked out for having that symptom your having.

If you do not chart or monitor your fertility in any way, and you think you may have conceived, you should wait 19 days (or longer) after having sex to test. Why 19?! Sperm can live approximately 5 days in the proper environment; if the sperm managed to live until you popped an egg, the actual conception could have taken place several days after the sex act that got the sperm there. To make sure you're not testing too early, assume the sperm had very long lives (5 days is considered a very long sperm life) and that conception occurred then. Then allow 14 days for the embryo to implant and develop enough hCG to show up on a pregnancy test (96% of pregnant women will test positive by then.)

If you think you could be pregnant take a HPT....If it comes out neg. wait a few days and re-test....or you can go to the Dr. for a blood test which is more accurate in early pregnancy and since you are irregular it may be a better choice! Good Luck!

You need to go to the doctor since you have irregular periods, there is no way you will be able to tell. You could still be pregnant and have discharges.
