Trying to Conceive - January 2007

I'm interested in embryo adoption. I am trying to find how to get started, I want to adopt or do the embryo adoption. I've been told that the embryo adoption is a lot more affordable. Any information would be greatly aappreciated.

I went off the pill last month as of Dec.3( my fiance and I want to get pregnant) and got my period on the 4th. It was completely gone on the 8th and I barley had cramps. It was spotting for the first day(only when I wiped) then the second day it got a little heavier(enought to fill a regular tampon). This is when I got mild cramping. The last couple of days it was light again(not as light as the beginning though) I just remember that last time I went off the pill for a month I had such a heavy period and really really bad cramps. My period usually lasts about 4 or 5 days but it is usually heavier. Could I be pregnant or is it just wishful thinking?

I'm 28...healthy but a little overweight. NEVER been pregnant. My doctor says my insides are fine (I had my insides scanned for a different reason). My boyfriend has gotten women pregnant before, they had abortions. We have been together 6 years, we want a baby, we are getting old (especially him)!

MY period has been irregular most of my life. Sometimes it doesn't come at all, so I test and it's always "not pregnant". Does my irregular period mean I can not have a baby? I always want to ask my own doctor, but I'm afraid to hear the truth.
When I think about it I feel sad, I used to cry about it. My mom and his mom died before I got to conceive, that's the part that hurts me the most.

What should I do, maybe a fertility specialist, huh? Anyone out there with similiar issue?

I went to the dr a week ago, and she gave me a pregnancy test, and it was negative. She done an examination on me, and gave me some medicine to make my period start. I have 1 and 1/2 dosage left, and still no period. Had spotting since beginning of dec. but no actual period. I asked her to give me a blood test and she REFUSED. This was my family dr. so what should I do? Go see my gyn.? Do u think I may be pregnant? Also, I checked with the local Health Department and they said they do no do blood tests for pregnancy, and I have no health insurance at all, but the Health Department told me that if I am pregnant they will get me a medical card.

can anyone explain to me how i would take the robitussin to concieve, to all those funny ppl i know its orally, but do i have to take it everyday just as the directions tell me to like every 4-6 or 6-8 hours and can i take it even if im not sick, and how many of you tried this and it actually worked?? also theres all sorts of different robitussins out there which one would i use, will the cough and cold stuff (robitussin cf) work cause thats what i have from when my son was sick??

I had an ectopic pregnancy in september 06, I was bleeding continously for about 8 weeks during the whole process of getting it terminated. since then I have had two normal periods(1-24 day cycleand the 2 -20 day cycle)
I am not sure if I am jumping to conclusions that my periods are irregular.... since I want to start trying again!

My best friend has been trying to conceive for a little while now, and I know that it can take a long time for anyone, I was wondering if there were any tips that someone could give me to pass on to her. So tommrow is the day im supposed to get my period i have had sore breast an nipples for about 12 days, now, sometimes i feel sick, but its different times of the day. I know i was ovulating around the 28 and that is when i was having sex. I took a test yesterday. it was negative. isnt it to early to take a home pregnancy test, considering if i was prego i would only be like 2 weeks or so!

Don't you think people are going against nature on this when they have more than 5 babies?

On a woman's own without ivf they can have quints but the odds are up there for that but why would anyone want 6 or more at once?

I have recently started charting my temps and I cannot tell you how great it is!!! My cycles have a tendency to range from month to month (27 days-32 days) and so I can never tell if my period is late or not. Temping is great because you can not only confirm that you ovulated and when but then you know when to expect your period because it comes very close to 14 days after ovulation. I heard that your own individual luteal phase stays the same month to month but that the time before ovulation can change due to stress, illness, etc. Anyway, ladies I highly recommend charting your "BBT" as it gives you a great deal of knowledge and control of your cycles. Give it a shot! There are free charts online that you can print off to use and the websites will give a description of how to do your charting. It's fun, trust me!

back negative I haven't had my period since November 28 on December 28,29 and 30 spotted very light pinkish color not to the point where needed to put a Pad just when I would urine and wipe very light color went to the doctor on Thursday 1/4 regular doctor should I go in and see an ob/gyn?
