Trying to Conceive - January 2007

[Selected]: All categories Pregnancy & Parenting Trying to Conceive

I've had no menstral cycle for over a year. I'm 22, have a 2 year old daughter, overwieght, but nothing else that might be causing this. We want to start trying for another child. I bought Women's Once A Day, what else do you recommend to get my ovulation/hormones back on track? Recommend any websites or personal experience? Any advice would be appreciated. TIA

I was on Depo for the better part of 4 1/2 years -- Came off of it this year because I'm at a point that I am ready to get pregnant. I know it can take anywhere from 3 months to 3 years to regain fetility -- however, I have yet to have a period. My Dr said this would be normal, and that I could still get pregnant even if I hadn't had one. I'm at a point right now where I honestly believe I could be pregnant, but the tests came back negative (I took 2). I was also told by a co-worker who has had one child that she went through the same thing, took like 10 pregnancy tests and they all came back negative and she was pregnant the entire time. My breasts are sore and tender, I'm tired (which isn't necessarily unusual), and in some ways, I just feel like I'm pregnant (gut feeling). Any advice? Anyone have the same experiences (or similar ones)?

Trying to get some advice on wether or not I should try it and what are my chances if there is no other obvious reason for me not getting pregnant,COuld it be my hormones and could bc over all increase my chances?

I do not consider myself super-religious, but I believe in the power of community and faith to make things happen. My husband and I have been trying unsuccessfully to conceive a child for two years. Last Thursday, I had an IUI after taking injectable meds.. I really hope next week's prgnancy test gives us the answer we have been praying for...please help!

My husband and I are trying to concive and I was wonering which tests do you think are more sensitive and could work earlier than others.
My last cycle began on Dec 22, and i'm not due for another one until the 18th of this month. I may have had some implantation bleeding this morning and feel very full in my uterus ~ can't say crampy but perhaps somewhat of an ache.
I'm not going to test today of course, but just wondered what tests might show a positive earlier than others.
Also, did any of you test before your period was due???

I have been off the pill for about a month and half now, i am supposed to be getting my period sometime this week. By me being off of it, do you think it increases your pain of symptoms, because for the last 11 days i have had sore nipples and breasts, and for the last three days, i have had a sore lower back. Because when i was on the pill i didnt experience these really.
