Your cervix (and indeed, your entire uterus, of which the cervix is a par) has a huge blood supply; she may simply have been commenting on its deeper color now that you're pregnant.

I easily have heard of a blue cervix earlier yet do not easily understand if there is any truth to it.....I went in for my annual exam really 2 days earlier having a good being pregnant try with my 2d daughter and my OB had no idea from my exam that i change into. I had only a had a miscarriage 3 months earlier and he or she change into very excited after I noted as in to make an appointment so i'm particular if those warning signs might want to were there she might want to have suggested something.

A blue cervix is nothing to worry about its very normal. In the future if you want don't something or just confused always ask. There is no such thing but the one unmask. Basically what happens in pregnancy will have a increased blood circulation which changes the color to either blue or purplish. Congratulation hope you have a easy road ahead of you and healthy baby.

Basically the Cervix changes color during pregnancy. When NOT pregnant...it is a pink/red/purple color, but during pregnancy it is more of a blue. It is caused by increased bloodflow in the area, and is nothing to worry about

Tried to do a search and keep finding things saying it is evidence of pregnancy. It is caused by an increased blood flow.

Also, it is called "Chadwick's Sign"
