Have anyone ever experience a pink discharge a week before their cycle was due and was pregnant? How long did it take for you to find out that you were? Please answer both questions and no smart comments please.

This is common i had spotting and was still pregnant. I knew something wasn't right with my period and took a test after the spotting stopped sure enough i was expecting...

Well, I wouldn't call it discharge, but I did experience some very light spotting one week before my period was supposed to start. It was implantation bleeding: very scant, watery, pink blood that lasted for about one day. I got my positive pregnancy test 6 days later.
My only other symptom at the time was a strange feeling low in my abdomen. I'd never felt anything like it. It was a feeling of pressure, and I felt as though the right and left sides of my abdomen were pulling toward the middle. It wasn't at all painful. If I hadn't been ttc and charting obsessively, I would barely have noticed it. This feeling started a day or so before the implantation bleeding and lasted for a couple weeks after my missed period.

I had a tiny bit of spotting before I found out I was pregnant, so this sounds normal. I found out as soon as I took the test, I dont know how long after my missed period it was because my cycle was sparatic, but I can tell you the little line started turning blue right away, and now I have a wonderful 5 month old son!

Implantation Bleeding can accure upto 5 days before your missed Period. I had this happen and took a pg test (Early Responce) 2 days after missed period and got 2 lines, instantly! Then went to the Doctor and was told, I was 5 weeks pg!~Good Luck~

I havent had the experience with a pink discharge, but im close 2 my best friend and she has a little bit of pink and the doctor said it was fine, she checked her underwear and found it right away.

It is called breakthrough bleeding, or implantation bleeding. When the embryo is implanting into the lining of the uterus. W/ or w/o the pink discharge, it takes 5 days before your missed period to find out if you are pg.

i didn't have that happen with any of my pregnancies but i do know that it sounds like implantation bleeding, which by the way doesn't happen to everyone, where the egg is attaching to your uterus and it is normal for it to occur before your scheduled period. to get the best results you should wait until you have actually missed your period. good luck!!
