My best friend has been trying to conceive for a little while now, and I know that it can take a long time for anyone, I was wondering if there were any tips that someone could give me to pass on to her. She has very regular periods and has tried on the week that shes supposed to be ovulating, but it hasn't been working for her. Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance!!!

I would definitely not tell her to "just relax." As someone who has been TTC for over 2 years now, it really hurts me to hear people say this. It's not possible to relax when you want something so badly. The only tip I can suggest is to tell her to try using ovulation predictor tests. That will make sure she's ovulating and she'll know what day she's ovulating. I have heard that the Taking Charge of Your Fertility book the other answerer mentioned is an excellent book. I think it would be a really nice gesture if you gave that to her. I know I'd be happy if one of my friends did this for me.

You are an awesome friend.

I suggest buying her the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler. It taught me a lot of stuff I never learned in sex ed!
