I am 36 years old married woman. My husband did vasectomy 16 years ago, so I haven't had any chance to know if I am fertile or not. I went to see a reproductive doctor and she suggested me to do the HSG test first. If the test shows that I am fertile, I should do IUI or IVF to get conceived. But those operations are very expensive and I want to skip those test and do IUI directly. My question is that is it possible for me just do simple IUI(artificial insemination) without going through all those tests to get pregnant? Who can do that for me?

Right now I am having pains in my back, and a burning sensation in my stomache and mild cramps in lower part of abdomen. I am due for AF tomorrow. I do not ever have any signs or symptoms before AF comes so that is not the case, my boobs are getting more sore by the hour it seems it seems as if the my shirt is making them hurt even more, i am very uncomfortable, and and am so very tired right now and have been for the last couple of days, i keep getting a wet sensation down below i keep thinking it is AF but it is more discharge. the discharge is heavier but not too heavy it is a milky color with no foul smell. any one have any ideas as to what the heck is going on.

I am due for my period anyday now. Took a test and of course a big fat negative. I have taken clomid for some time now and guess I have to move on to a different procedure. When caculating on the due date calculator, I get all different dates on when to take the test. My first date of my last menstrual cycle was on October 9th. My cycle does not come on time every month, sometimes a few days or week late. I guess that is why I can't get pregnant. I have such menstrual symptons, so I am assuming since the test was negative and I have these period symptoms then it is a no go. Are then any other fertility drugs to help getting pregnant before I see a Fertility doctor? Sorry for the rambling, just down in the dumps right now after seeing that negative line. I was really hopeful this time and feeling really positive.

I was on the depo shot for 3 years. It took me about a year for my periods to start. It has been about a year that they have been normal. We have been trying to get pregnant for several months now with no luck yet. I know that for some people it takes a little longer but in my situation could this be because of the shot? Has anyone else experienced a delay getting pregnant because of the shot?

I was told that I should schedule a preconception appointment with my gyno before I begin trying to conceive. She said no exam was needed but that I could come in for counseling if I had questions. Can anyone tell me what their gyno had to say in such a visit? I know the basics, like getting my folic acid, no caffeine, alcohol, etc. Is there anything else I should know? And does anyone happen to know why doctors prefer that you wait three months after coming off the pill before actually trying to conceive?

This procedure consists of shooting dye into the tubes to see if there is any blockage. I'm wondering if anyone had success having this done and if it helped them conceive. I'm also curious how painful it is. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 7 months now. We've both been tested and both of us are fine but I'm still not pregnant. This is the next step.

We have been trying to get pregnant now for a while and I ovulated about a week ago. I expect my period in a few weeks. I have noticed that my breasts hurt really bad lately and normally they only hurt a few days before my period. Also, when I lay on my stomach I get sharp cramps in my uterus. Is that a sign of pregnancy or is it something else? I had an ultra sound about 6 months ago and they didnt find any cysts. This is the first time I have ever experienced this. Thankyou!

I'm just really confused how I could ovulate this early in my cycle (I just stopped bleeding and my cycle is usually 40-50 days long). I had a lot of EWCM, so I decided to test early, and both yesterday and today the LH Urine strip test came back positive for ovulation. Has anyone used one and had it be wrong? How acurate is this?

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for over 2 years. We've been to fertility specialists. They can't find anything wrong with either of us. We've waiting until I'm ovulating (we got those ovulation kits), and nothing has worked. He wants to have children more than I do, and I can't wait until I'm a mommy. What do you all think is the problem? Again, serious answers only. Anything that is said that is against guidelines will get reported. Thank you.
