I found out that I was pregnant in September, but shortly afterward found out that I miscarried. I was just wondering how soon after a period can pregnancy be possible?

It depends on each woman and when she ovulates. You can tell when that is happpening a few different ways. if you are taking your temperature each morning at the same time, you will see it dip by a few tenths of a degree right before or at the time of ovulation. Your cervical fluid should resemble egg white. You can feel the slippery quality of it on the tissue when you wipe. Also, you may have a stronger desire to have intercourse on those days and possibly some mild ovarian cramping. It usuallly happens in the middle of the cycle, anywhere from day 10-18, depending on the length of the cycle.

The VERY NEXT PERIOD!

If you are fertile, ANY TIME you are menstruating, you can become pregnant.
