Trying to Conceive - October 2006

can you ovulate 2 days after your period? its been 2 days since my period ended and today i had a big clear thick discharge. that looked like egg-whites. was that ovulation? and is this possible. i have a 28 day cycle and i always ovlate the 12 days not 14. but i was 2 days late for my period if that affects if any. its the first time in a long time for me missing.

Are you ovulating when you have the "egg white" discharge? My husband and I are trying for a baby and I had this and now no period and negetive preg test. Is it possible I didnt even ovulate even though I had the discharge? What else could be the issue?

I read on a site about pregnancy, that the baby's heart developes at 5 weeks. When you get a chance to hear the babies heart beat. Is the beating a different beat from yours? Basically can you tell the difference?

ok i heard if you took a test and it was positive for pregnancy, and you are one of the few who then starts to bled like a "period" for several months that you are pregnant, i heard that if you try a test while youre bleeding, it will come out negative no matter what because of the blood. And i am wondering how long you have to wait to test again for a positive? Any experience this, or know what this could possibly be??

My friend and I found out the same week that we were both preganant. Unfortunately, I had yet another miscarriage (my fourth). I was informed the scan showed up nothing except for a small cyst on my left ovary which was not a problem, this was strange as I usually have pain on the right hand side at that time of the month. my Boyfriend wants a baby..but im not sure if I do..I have a nice lookin body and I dont wanna ruin that..plus im only 17 but I dont go to school im gettin my GED..bad part is my boyfriend is 16 and still in school I tried to talk him out of it but he just keeps buggin me about it..I told him no ALOT..I just cant handle that type of responsibility..Kids arent really my thing..I do want to have a family with him one day just now right now..My boyfriend lives on his own he goes to school and he has a nice job for a 16 year old he does good on his own but havein a baby with him would ruin our life if you get what I mean..my friend is 16 and had a baby 2 weeks ago and she says its really hard to take care of him one time my boyfriend talked me into it and we tried for a couple of months then I said no more I dont want one..I Love him alot and would do anything to make him happy but what scares me is havein a baby would make him really happy..what should I do??

I had taken 2 pregnancy tests, 1 the day before i was due for my period and it was positive, and another the day after i was due for it, and it was also positive. I experienced dark brown blood spot the day before the due period, and then a tiny bit more dark brown blood the day i was due. When i was 1 day late, there was no blood of any kind, and then the next day i started to bleed kind of like a normal period. I guess what im askin is, is it possible to bleed like this and still be pregnant, or am i definately miscarrying already??

Please I would like to hear from people this could have happened to or people who have a decent opinion.

And for those of you out there who just feel the need to right cruel things in the answers, i dont need you to, nor did i make you open this question, let alone answer it in any way, so please just stay out of it!

ok i have been ttc for 1.7 years with no luck so i had givin up because of my very irregular perios i went on the pill instead well acidently i missed a few pills during the month and i had sex everyday this month well now its on the second inactive pills and i have not gotten my period yet . yesterday i thought i was spotting but it was brown and it was soo little not like a period and today my breasts are tender this is also my first month on the pill my questions are am i pregnant? or is this normal for the first month on the pill ? and if you think i am pregnant when should i take the test? and should i start the new pack ?

I was wondering did u know anything about Low risk HPV? Me and my boyfriend really want to have a baby and i stop takin my birth control pills this month we want to try this week for one but i went to the doctor the doctor last week and she said that i have Low risk HPV and that he gave it to me because i had High risk before and it went away in April and then me and him start talkin. So she told us to start usein condoms again but we really want a baby. so is it safe since both of us have it to not use the condoms and try anyway?

I take my temperature with a basel bottom thermometer and does ovulation occur the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd day before my temp. hits 98 degrees. From what I have been told once your temp hits 98 degrees there is little chance to conceive. The fertile days are the days leading up to the 98 degree mark.
