I would wait to test the day or a few days after missed period. I wouldn't take one any sooner. You could get a false negative. Be patient.

Actually, some women are a little sensitive that they can tell 8 days after conception. But it depends on the women. You won't get an accurate + sign until around the time of your missed period.

You can take a home pregancy test as soon as two weeks after ovulation or one day after your missed period.

a friend of mine tried to go and see was she pregnent but the doctor told her to wait two weeks after haveing sex to see

If it takes any longer then 8 months to figure it out, it's hardly worth knowing at all.
