I had taken 2 pregnancy tests, 1 the day before i was due for my period and it was positive, and another the day after i was due for it, and it was also positive. I experienced dark brown blood spot the day before the due period, and then a tiny bit more dark brown blood the day i was due. When i was 1 day late, there was no blood of any kind, and then the next day i started to bleed kind of like a normal period. I guess what im askin is, is it possible to bleed like this and still be pregnant, or am i definately miscarrying already??

Please I would like to hear from people this could have happened to or people who have a decent opinion.

And for those of you out there who just feel the need to right cruel things in the answers, i dont need you to, nor did i make you open this question, let alone answer it in any way, so please just stay out of it!

I have a cousin who had her period all nine months of pregnancy- she is heavier set and didn't show that she was pregnant at all- she never even suspected it...Stayed home from classes one day with stomach cramps and a back ache...delivered a baby in her bathroom later that afternoon- to everyones totoal shock...Her and the baby were taken to the hospital obviously where her doctor said the baby was the size of a average newborn!! I don't know what I believe- if it was denial but that is her story.

My friend Josie also had normal periods until she was about 6 months pregnant, started being really tired, and finally missed a period, went in for a check up and sure enough baby on the way!

I had a light period for about two days when I was pregnant with my son. I went to the ER and my OB and both told me I was fine and wasn't having a miscarriage. My aunt had a normal period until she was six months pregnant. So it's possible but you need to see a doctor asap just in case there is a problem.

Yes I did. I had a regular period and got off of it(it was 5-7 days don't remember I was 19 and not on the pill then)They a week later I had another one but it was shorter and lighter. But I had never done that before and I knew something was wrong. I had a feeling that I was{pregnant} and I was right.

My aunt had her period for 5 months into each pregnancy with all three of her children. No threat of miscarriage, just wasn't lucky enough to get rid of her period for the first 5 months of each pregnancy. Every case is different though, so hope you are talking with your doctor.

I've never had this problem myself, how ever my cousin had one every month until the day she delivered. Her Dr. said some women just do. Be careful though because it raises your chances of getting preg. after your baby's birth. Good luck!
