absolutely...prenatal vitamins are a great way to help make sure that your baby has a healthy start. Most have the required dosages of folic acid in them as well and this is very important to help prevent neural tube defects...

Prenatal pills can be taken at any time. They are just like taking any other vitamins. People take them to make their hair and nails grow. Start when you want.

people who are activly trying for children like to take them before since most of the brain development happens in those early months. Most of us don't figure out were expecting till we miss a period..
Prenatal pills are a good idea and you want to take them as early as possible. Good Luck.

You can take them at any time, they are basically just multi-vitamins, but designed for a woman. They certainly wont hurt you to take at any time. I take them just to help keep my hair and nails and skin healthy, and also, if I happen to get pregnant, then at least I have already been on them and my body is used to them

Whenever you are trying to conceive, the baby needs that folic acid the most during the first few weeks of development.

My doctor put me on them as soon as my husband and I decided we would try. I continue to take them as long as I continue to try. Folic acid is good for preventing miscarriages.

I was told to start taking them when you decide to try to conceive. The folic acid is the most beneficial.
