Trying to Conceive - August 2006

My periods are irregular, and ive been trying to have a baby for a year now, I wanted to see the infertility doctor, but my insurance said I have no coverage for that....what now??? Is it expensive to see a obgyn on my own??

My friend wants to have a baby but she doesent have regualr periods any more & the doctors dont know why. She is only 20 & she stop having them when she was 12. She started having them in the 6th grade. She trys & trys but nothn & it worries her cause she want kids before she is 25. What can she do??

I have been trying for over a year, I have tried different positions, lowered my BP & Cholesterol, exercised more, I don't smoke or drink, and I STILL can't get pregnant!

Yes, I've seen a doctor, and he wants to put me on fertility pills, BUT he said this to me on the first doctor's visit. He didn't even give me an exam, is that unusual!? I think there may be something else.

I have VERY painful, and abnormal menstrual cycles. I've had 2 miscarriages. One was 8 years ago, and one a little over a year ago.

My husband and I are trying to have a baby (So far NO LUCK :(. We are having problems....But my doctor gave me Prenatal pills to take. I just wanted to know if anyone knew why? What do they do? How will they benefit me now? Has anyone hear of the pill called NATELLE??

I have an idea when I ovulate but its different every month? Is it always 14 days before your next period, regardless of the length of your cycle?

i due to ovulate on the 15th when the best time to have sex. Also my fiance has started taking zinc tablets will this help as well??

My friend and her b/f have been trying for a baby for 8 months. The trouble is her b/f smokes a huge amount of weed everyday and has done for 6 years now. How much effect could that have on sperm count? Anyone have any tips to improve male sperm count would be very helpful...?? A friend was told that they were the father of some girl's baby, and the only time they had sex was at this party. Well he claims that he was too drunk at this party to even remember having sex, and added he might've even been close to passing out. My husband travels weekly and I am suppose to ovulate on the 18th of August. I have been told to have sex that entire week.
He is leaving that Monday the 14th (we can have sex before he leaves for the airport in the am). He is gone Tuesday, Wednesday, returning Thursday. We can have sex Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Do you think this is good enough?

Any other suggestions? I am very anxious.

I've taken 6 Pregnancy test and all negative. Is it a hormonal imbalance or what. I quite taking my birthcontrol about two months ago and I've had my periods since then so I don't know if something is wronng or should I just be patient and wait for my period to come?
