My husband travels weekly and I am suppose to ovulate on the 18th of August. I have been told to have sex that entire week.
He is leaving that Monday the 14th (we can have sex before he leaves for the airport in the am). He is gone Tuesday, Wednesday, returning Thursday. We can have sex Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Do you think this is good enough?

Any other suggestions? I am very anxious.

My husband commutes out of state being away from home Monday - Friday and only home on the weekends the majority of time. The pressure can not be avoided. We only have a small opportunity to become pregnant. Sometimes I ovulate and he is out of town. So the week of the 18th we just got lucky that is returning home on a Thursday instead of late Friday night. BTW we don't feel pressured what a great way for us to bond since we are both working for the same goal :~)

My aunt and uncle had problems, they told my uncle to stop wearing briefs, and to wear boxers. I guess they were getting too hot. Sounds crazy, but it worked for them, seriously.

It sounds fine. Sperm lives up to 72 hours, so you would still be in "the window of opportunity" so to speak. We went through similar problems when we were TTC with fertility treatments, since my husband also travels. Our baby was born 7 months ago and was conceived some time between the Miami trip and the Las Vegas trip. Good luck!!!!

I'm 43 Y/O with three children. I'm not going to say this twice. . . .it's TRUE. If either one of you feel pressured, or have any type of anxiety (or imposing the same on the other partner), YOU WILL NOT GET PREGNANT ! ! You can't force mother nature. But, if you continue to insist, read this for the best possible outcome from your time spent together:

If you really want a baby and your husband is not available, maybe another man would be willing to help out?

It had better be enough. Not like you have any other choice. Hope you get what you're going for.
