Pregnancy - March 2007

My last period was Jan.12,i took a preg test on Feb.22nd (which was positive) so i should be 10 weeks now,however i have been spotting for 4 days now,saw my OB & he did a u/s which only showed the sac of waters-nothing in it,he said is possible i am not as far along as i think.How would i figure that out ? I am worried it may be a m/c & i have gotten my hcg levels checked(which looked good) & will get them checked again on Mon. to make sure they are rising. Anyone have any experience with this & when would something show up on u/s?

can i still be pregnant eve if i had a normal period a week after taking the morn after pill? it was early thou but that is a normal side effect of the pill, but now i am just worried i may be pregnant.

I am unsure if my period is just changing cycle or I'm actually pregnant. I got my tubes tied when I delievered my son in 2004 but my period has never been more than 10 days late. I don't want to buy the test and it just comes back negative, and waste money. How much longer should I wait until I go buy a test?

After implantation bleeding, are there any signs or anything? Like, I think I implatation bleed yesterday and now my back hurts and the right side at the bottom of my stomach is cramping. Is that a possible pregnancy sign? And, can you tell me if there is anyway to have pregnancy signs just a day after implantation. Anything would help, I'm just confused...haha, thanks =)

Like I said before I am 38 weeks pregnant. I am 2 cm dilated as of Tuesday. Also I lost my mucus plug on Thursday. Now what my husband felt can or can not be the babys head? He was pretty high up there. Is it still ok to have sex? I didn't get any pains when he did that and felt something hard. So if Im 2 cm dilated shouldn't that if its my cervix start to soften? Or like I asked was it the babys head? SO SO SO SO confused....

I'm 21 and just about to graduate from an out-of-state college. Last week i told my mom i was pregnant and then she went and told my dad. He wont talk to me at all. He wont look at pictures of my bf and he never wants me to come home. I was considering living there this summer to save money before the baby's born but he doesn't want me there. He says he wishes he had never helped pay for my education since after all that this is how I repay him.

I dont know what to do. My mom is pretty supportive but i don't want to cause a huge fight in their marriage. I'm scared to call him and i'm just going through so much right now that i don't even feel ready. But what if he never talks to me again? I dont even know if he'll still come to my graduation in 2 months. Is there anything i can do to make him feel better?

Anyone else getting close to delivering? Are you miserable yet? I can't sleep or get comfy. I look like a duck and walk like one too. My belly hurts, my back hurts, my legs hurts just everything hurts.
I am only 35 weeks pregnant. Hopefully I will have this little one by 38 weeks. I don't know if I can take this much longer.
Any advice to help with the pain?

me and my girlfriend had sex last weekend ... now she says her stomachs been hurting and feeling weird the past couple days (keeping in mind it hasnt even been a full week yet)... and also she is on the birth control patch and i still used a condom... should i be worried????

i am 38 weeks pregnant and my husband and I were in the middle of making love. This may sound grosse but we were having floor play i guess you can say. He said when his finger was up there, he felt something really hard. Now he went really high up but would this be the babys head? If not what is it?

ok heres the thing.....i dont wake up until 11:45 brush my teeth then go to work and sometimes i forget to take my first iron pill right away(i take 2 plus my prenatal) so my question is is it safe to take the second 4 hours after or how many cause i still have to take my prenatal before i go to bed(it makes me sick otherwise) the other day i skipped one iron pill cause i was ready to go to bed so i just took my prenatal and 1 iron that day.

I have heard horror stories from women who had an epidural. Majority of the women I spoke with said they had a terrible headache after the given birth and felt as if their heads were going to explode or they were dying. These women feels that the epidural had something to do with the severe headache pain. I have also spoke with women who had natural child birth and they said it is very painful but really didn't have any pain after the birth. I plan on having a baby and I would like to go natural (actually water birth) and want to get information from you all who has experienced natural birth, epidural and water birth. Also, are they any other type of medication other than the epidural that can help with pain?

I'm 24 weeks pregnant .. and did the 1 hour gestational diabetes test 3 days ago. My doctor called yesterday and said my level was 158 and needs to be below 140 and I have to go in next week (after 3 days of a special diet) and re-test doing a 3 hour glucose test.
Is 158 considered really high??
Has anyone else ever experienced this??
Is there a chance if I watch my carb and sugar intake and exercise more it will clear up??
Will it cause harm to my baby??

I feel horrible. I read up on it (online) and it says if I do have gestational diabetes that my baby's pancreas will have to work harder. I am so sad thinking that something I might have done (getting the gest. diabetes) is causing my little boys new little organs to have to work harder. And the thought of him having any complications after birth is just heartbreaking.

I'm way stressed .. and would greatly appreciate answers from anyone who might have experienced this. Thanks!!

I want to be a mom, more than anything. But, Im sooo afraid of labor and the pain. And when we do get pregoI want to go to the hospital without immedialy getting meds (heard it cuases problems if to early in labor). But, Im still out of my mind scared. Help!!!

I know someone who became pregnant and I think she miscarried it....but she won't admit it because she's using the pregnancy to keep a man...so if she did miscarry, then how long would it take for her pregnancy test to come up negative?? She had a doctor's appt but she made an excuse not to go....so I told the dude to make her go to the doctor and the test would be negative if she lost it....

K me and my girlfriend were fooling around last night and we didn't have sex but we did do other things. We didn't do intercourse at all, but my hand had semen on it after, and I wiped my hand off. About 2 mins later, I "used my finger" in her, and that was pretty much it. She is on birth control and has been taking them regularely, but is it still possible for her to get pregnant? If we didn't have intercourse at all and she took her pills is it possible? Anyways the next day she says her stomach hurts, so I don't know. Is she just sick, or is she pregnant? I just found out yesterday that I am pregnant. What do I do from here, and how do I know how far along I am? My last day of my period was Feb 8 and I have had sore breasts and cramping for the past 3 weeks? Can anyone help me, this is my 1st child and I am confused about the whole pregnancy.
