I am for abortion for many different reasons and even though i haven't had one if i did want one then i would not care what people like you think/thought.
I would have an abortion for the following reasons:
1)If i were raped
2)If the fetus had something horribly wrong with it and would only suffer a horrible life.
3)If my life were in danger and i was told i would die if i followed through with the pregnancy then i would abort because i would not want to leave my son motherless.
4)If i did not or could not handle another kid.
It comes down to this:
My Body
My Sexuality
My Uterus
My Vagina
My Morals
My Life
My Choice
Not Yours

I support abortion because I don't think government should tell a woman what to do with her own body. It is a religious issue, not a moral one (many religions of the world have no opinion on abortion, but they do on infanticide, which is not the same).
I've known two woman who have had abortions because their wanted fetuses had significant deformities. Their right to choose to terminate the fetus rather than allow it to live a miserable life should also not be lost. A relative with bipolar that doesn't respond well to medication became pregnant despite a tubal. She needed to continue to take meds that would have resulted in severe abnormalities for a baby. There was a 75% chance her child would have the same crippling mental disorder. It's not the government's job to make personal decisions for these women. They were heartrending, well thought out decisions.
Adoption is not a fix or necessarily even an alternative, but that is not the point of your question, so I won't go there. Consider this though: Women who have told others that they put a child up for adoption are treated by the friends, family and community MUCH WORSE than a woman who has had an abortion.

I support abortion if and only if it is the woman's choice and she has no doubts about it. As a 21 yr old who had an abortion four months ago I feel all women should have that right to choose. I did not want to get an abortion but its something I went and did anyway and I will have to live with that for the rest of my life. I feel women shouldn't be pressured or coerced into having one.

sorry but i'am pro life and I'am going to answer this question, abortion is nothing other than murder, how any woman can kill a baby is beyond me, do you even no how some abortions are done, how can you go for that? I feel that if a woman doesn't want to be pregnant then she should keep her legs closed or go on birth control and use condoms. I have no respect what so ever for women who agree with abortions. I do agree with bethany though if a woman is assualted or there is a serious problem then abortion would be considered but only for those 2 reasons.

i don't really support abortion and by all means i wouldn't have one but i believe people have the right to make their own decisions and the consequence is between them and God. I just feel it shouldn't be allowed as a form of birth control and how many a woman has should be regulated and stopped then!!

I think that it is a women's right to decide what happens to her body. No one should be able to take a women's right to her body away. Although I myself would never be able to get an abortion, I am still pro-choice. Although I do believe it should be done before a certain point in time.

I actually believe abortion is wrong *BUT* I recognise that my opinion comes from my religious beliefs. Therefore, if I want to support freedom of religion, I must support the right of other people to choose abortion if their religious beliefs are different than my own.

I only support abortion if the female was sexually assaulted or there is an abnormality with the fetus that could cause a potentially fatal problem.

because i dont believe its the government gs right to tell me as a woman not to do something with my body. I'm pro-choice. if i have something growing inside of me that i dont want then i would like the option to get rid of it. not to mention its not even a person / human being until the 3 month mark and that's when you can no longer have an abortion, so its not murder, in any way shape or form.
