My boyfriend says that the pull out method is ok and thats what he wants to do. I know that it is not 100% effective, why do you think he insists on using this?

well if you want to get pregnant let him do it then
you sound young so i would advise against sex until you know the correct way to do it and this is using protection
NO protection will result in you getting pregnant,using condoms also protects you against any STD
but then you'd know this if old enough to have sex right?

I personally think that any man who still thinks that the pull-out method is a safe form of birth control is in no way responsible and prepared enough to be a father anyway. It is a highly ineffective method unless he is always in fantastic control of his body at all times - but seriously can you really trust him to pull out just as the going is getting really good??
I think a good question is if that if you allow him to use this highly unpopular method of bc are you okay with getting preggers and not getting a positive response from him???????? Then again maybe he doesnt mind either way if he becomes a dad and is willing to leave it up to fate to decide - think you need to ask him that.......... :)

He thinks he has enough control of his body to not get any sperm in you. It's not that he wants to have kids...it's that he doesn't want to accept the fact that the best-feeling form of birth control isn't as effective as others. My boyfriend and I did this for almost a year...and then my best friend got pregnant from using the pull out method. I'm baby sitting right now! So then I wised up and started using the pill. If he doesn't want kids, get on the pill, because pulling out doesn't always work. Talk to him seriously and if he thinks this is real birth control, fill him in. 27 out of 100 people using this method get pregnant every year.

I think its becuase he has no idea about birth control methods or his own body. With the pull out method you can get pregnant as with any other form of birth control. There's a thing called pre-*** that can inpregnate a girl. Tell your boyfriend you either want to use a condom or your getting on the pill. The pull out method is not a smart idea.

It is only about 2/3 effective. If this is your choice of birth control and he insists on it get the crib ready because it is only a matter of time before you get pregnant.
I am not joking about that you will get pregnant by him, I would give it less than a year to happen (if he does this the right way.) More likely you will be pregnant in just a few months.

I will help you.....Ok first of all....your bf is wrong....The "Pull Out Method" doesnt work like you think.....When a guy gets hard and excited, just before he is ready to "***", there is a liquid that is know as Pre-***. it just like how a girl gets wet, when she is excited....same thing with the guys....with the pre-*** yu can still get pregnant regardless.....he insists on using this method bc he doesnt like the feeling of a condom, cant stay hard with it, or doesnt feel the sensation he wants to feel when he is inside you.....my fiance is the same way.....i think they all are.

Because he's trying to get away with not using a condom. If this makes you feel uncomfortable and you're not ready to have kids, TELL HIM! If he really loves you he would understand. About the "is he open to having kids" thing, you should talk to him about see what both of your views are o n having kids. Planned pregnancies are better then unplanned ones.

There could be many reasons why your man would like to use the pull out method!! One could be that he thinks it will keep you from getting pregnant but that is ABSOULTELY NOT TRUE!!! you still have a good chance of getting pregnant. another is because it feels good for them!! when they are all hard and inside you it relax's them but when you are ready to nut if they pull out is gives them a sense of pleasure!

You are playing Russian Roulette with birth control.
Well, I bet you that if you get pregnant he will not be happy at all and he will leave you and blame you for getting pregnant. Don't let him tell you what sort of birth control to use because he is not using anything as you are going to get pregnant.
Tell him to cover his thing or you do not participate.
Frankly, I think you should go to Planned Parenthood or the doctor and get yourself some birth control because if you continue to have sex with this selfish jerk; then you need to be responsible for your life because he will not.

The pull out method isnt okay--he will most of the times shoot *** in you rather he realizes it or not--he just doesnt want to use a rubber is all --the guy cant feel much with a rubber on.

Because he doesnt want to use a condom! It doesnt feel the same .. so what! make him. I know many many children who were conceived when parents tried the ol pull out method! there are also diseases!
Get the lifestyle ultra sensitive condoms, and make him wear one everytime and the whole time.
