can i still be pregnant eve if i had a normal period a week after taking the morn after pill? it was early thou but that is a normal side effect of the pill, but now i am just worried i may be pregnant.

It is extremely unlikely that you are pregnant if you took the morning after pill. The pill is a very high dose of hormones that help prevent pregnancy.

The morning after pill is 89% effective if taken within 24 hours of the sex act. After that, effectiveness drops to the point it's not effective at all on the 4th day after sex. I'm assuming you took it in the proper time period, though. Yes, you could be pregnant, but it's not extremely likey. If you're that worried about it, take a test. I do know the morning after pill does weird stuff to your system, but if it's been 2 weeks since the sex act, you can go ahead and test and trust the results. I think it'll ease your mind.
