Well first thing you need to do is make a doctors appointment with your regular doc if you have not done that yet. They will give you a test at the office, a perscription for prenatal vitamins, and a referal to an OBGYN. As for how far along you are, they generally count from the first day of your last period, so I'm going to take a guess here and say your period started around the third. That makes conception (again this is approximate) around the 17 th of Feb, you are considered to be 7 weeks right now and your due date is around the 10th of November. When you talk to your doctor He-she can give you a better estimate and at some point they will do and ultra sound to help you determine even more accurately. Good luck and Congratulations. !!!

Does the father know? If not, you should tell him. If he is excited and ready for this, then great. If not, so what? You don't need him to get through this.
I just gave birth 6 weeks ago, before I found out I was pregnant I had sore breasts and some cramping similar to when I was going to start my period. Once I found out I was pregnant and spoke to the doctor, they told me the cramping was from the placenta anchoring itself in the uterine wall (which can also cause spotting).
Enjoy the experience and try not to get upset. Pregnancy is a beautiful thing, its amazing what the human body can do!
Also, check out Americanbaby.com, it's a pretty good site.

You need to call an OB/GYN and set up a prenatal appointment. You need to do that first thing Monday morning. What was the first day of your last period? Count the weeks from that day and that's how far along you are. The first day of my last period was Feb. 3rd...so I am now 7 weeks along. Due in November. You're probably just as far along as I am. Congrats.

In order to figure due date, you take the FIRST day of last period and count 3 months back from that and then add 7 days to that date. This is called the Naegle rule and is quite accurate give or take a few days. Most pregnancy wheels are based on this rule, but of course babies will come when they're ready. Based on what you have said, you're probably due around around the 3rd week of November. Sore breasts are normal but I would be concerned about the cramping. Call your doctor.

Well first of all, it is okay. This happens to the best of us. Also, congradulations. Well to begin with your first question, I would recommend going to a doctor. They will be able to tell you an estimate of your pregnancy. Most likely, you are only about a month. Then you should tell the father if he does not alredy know, you should talk about it. This is your first child and I hope you would like a healthy child. I had my first child at 14 and I wish someone would have given me advice. Stay strong, you will be okay.

since your period is feb 8th you are about 6 weeks and 2 days. with your cramping that is completly normal i had it with my son and i have it with this pregnancy and im almost 8 weeks. its your uterus streching making room for the baby theres alot going on right now with your baby. sore breasts are completly normal to its part of being pregnant. what you need to do is call a obgyn doctor to make your first prenatal appoinment then thell go over everything with you from there. congratulations!!!!!.

using a pregnancy calculator based off of your last period (I guessed it started on Feb 2), you would be due November 9, 2007 and are 7 weeks pregnant
Congrats!

You need to make an appointment to see an ob/gyn or midwife. They will tell you how far along you are and what to do and expect. The book "what to expect when you're expecting" has tons of good information. You might think about picking it up.

Gina you need to see a doctor cramping while pregnant is not normal. Being that this is your first child you need the care and help of a professional not general answers. Please don't wait the life of a child (Yours) is at stake. Keep them healthy and give yourself peace of mind. Mother of Three.
