Pregnancy - December 2006

I got told that period pains are only 1/100th the amount of pain experienced during childbirth. If that even makes sense.. I get really unbearable period pains sometimes i cant imagine what it would be like having a baby arh! Not that im thinking of having one im far from it, its just that i was just curious mothers please do tell :)

I willl call the doctor, screw the day before christmas eve- they just gave me some pain pills and said nothingm just come back if pain gets worse? I have never had a miscarrigae so how do I know what the heck the pain shopuld feel like in the first place. I am going to go bother her.

She is 8 weeks pregnanat and always worried about the way of delivering the baby. What do you suggest in this matter - a normal delivery or an operation?

I'm 40 weeks and 2 days pregnant.

As of last night around 11:00 pm I was getting contractions about 10 minutes apart (and slight cramps with them) I went to bed at 2:00 am still having those mild contractions, but I was able to sleep while having them. Now I just woke up this morning to some stronger cramps associated with each contraction, and they're about 7 minutes apart (and last about 40 seconds long.) It feels like I have to go number 2 constantly (there is some pressure down there) and I have diarrhea.

Is what I'm describing sound like labor? If so, how close together should I wait for the contractions to be? My spouse is at work 30 minutes away, so I don't want to tell him to come home if it's just false labor.

I did an ovulation test 2 weeks after my period and the result was positive, this was 3 and a half weeks ago and I still havent had a period. I done 2 early pregnancy tests and both tests were negative. Has any one ever done a test that was negative and later found out that they were pregnant?

I am currently 15 weeks pregnant as of today.My next ultrasound is scheduled for this upcoming friday.Initially I was pegnant with twins but in the 9th week lost one twin.The first trimester I had alot of pelvic pain,stomach cramping and it was hard to sleep I would wake up quite a few time throughout the night.
As I entered my second trimester I found that I lost those symptons.I only have pelvic pains once in a while,I am sleeping better (only wake up once early morning )When I sneeze of laugh I don't feel the navel twinge anymore.I don't have any spotting as I did when I lost twin b.I just have been having an extremly wet either clear or white mucus .And all in all feel great unlike prior.
As this is my first pregnany I am not sure as when I read it can give different information.I have not felt the baby move as yet .Is this also normal for a first pregnancy ?

Is there anyone who really knows about this? The last day of my period was june 1st or 2nd. Is it possible I was pregnant before that & had a period anyway? If I was that would mean I had to of conceived on may 20th. Thats the only day I had sex until june 10th. ?? My due date is feb. 28th?

If a mother has 3 children will it be more likely that their birth weights may be: oldest = 7lbs, middle = 8lbs, youngest = 9lbs.
I have always heard this, but I felt it was probably an old wives tale.
I have 3 kids and they progressively had smaller birth weights.

The cramping is not bad, but its been constant for the last week and a half. I'm only about 4 weeks pregnant. I found out by accident because I was scheduled to have a laprosctomy because I have a bicornuate uteris. The labs came back saying I was pregnant, eveyone was in shock, considering i was having surgery to check for possible fertility problems.

Anyway, I'm having this cramping and its not bad, but its uncomfortable and making it hard for me to sleep. Is this normal?Can I take something? What can't I take, tyleno, ibprophen, naprosen?

My dr. said not to worry too much unless I have bleeding, but I'm still worried and not sure if its normal. I forgot to ask him earlier if it was ok to take something.

IM 14 weeks today! IM so happy, but IM also wondering about miscarriages I have heard that some people have them and don't even know it! I still have slight morning sickness, but it worries me still I go to my doctor once a month and hear it's heart beat to be sure but still! is there any thing I can do to know its OK?? IM just so worried! and I am also worried about the umbilical cord wrapping around its neck during delivery how is that prevented?? I know I sound nuts but the thought of losing my baby makes me worry! and I just need information thanks!
