First we called him lima bean, then we nicknamed him Eberhard (we decided it was the worst name ever, when going through a list of names)

However after 6 months Eberhard kind of stuck, my husband wanted to use it as a middle name!

I referred to my unborn baby as "the baby" until we found out it's a boy, now we refer to him as "him" or "he"...or sometimes "Dominic". But my husband changes his mind about names so often that I try not to call the baby by his name of the week... at least not until it is on a birth certifcate! My 3 year old daughter is now confused as to what his name is... LoL

I actually had a name for the baby before it was born and before I knew the sex. I was so fond of the name octavion and because it felt like an octupus that is what I called him/her at the time. When she was born I finally decided on the name Ashley.

First pregnancy was always referred to as "the baby" and even after he was born he was still "the baby" for a while and as a few months went by he was referred to as "little man" until he......oh, he's 22 now and we still refer to him as "one young son".Guess the nicknames never end-even after you grow up!!!Happy Holidays!

I named her as soon as I found out she was a girl, so I referred to her by her name. Same for my second daughter, but it took a little longer to come up with a name that we both liked. Sometimes, we just referred to them as "kid".

Well, since I don't even know the gender of my baby yet, I always refer to my unborn child as "Baby".
