This sounds completley normal. Some days you will be bloated and other days you wont. I am 39 weeks pregnant and some days i look huge and feel like a whale, and other days i look tiny, Its just the way it goes, especially in the beggining. You'll find you'll have alot more Gas too. I didnt suffer and sickness in the beggining, all i had was extreme tiredness, i would nap most days and be in bed by 9.30pm!!! The back aches are very normal also, these will come and go. If you are worried i would suggest buying a doppler, thats what i dont at about 12 weeks just to put my mind at rest Good luck

I think you are worrying too much. Morning sickness tends to dissappear on a sudden (if it goes away at all). Umbilical twisiting is a freak of nature and occurs when your baby somersaults itself thru a loop in the cord. You can't prevent that. At 14 weeks, you are past the time you are most likely to lose your baby. If you hear a heartbeat, the baby is probably just fine. If you had a miscarriage at this point, believe me, you'd KNOW it! The only way you might not is if it happened in the first 2-3 weeks after conception, and you'd think it was just a heavier than normal period. Usually women who experience this never even know they were pregnant to begin with...

You are in total "mommy" mode. All of these concerns are SO normal! Try to think about something else. Plan the nursery, think of names, go look at other questions on here not involving pregnancy or babies, play a game, anything to keep u from worrying so much. After the first trimester the chances of miscarriage are greatly reduced. If you think it would ease your mind, get one of those heart monitor things, they have them at most stores that carry a lot of baby stuff, including Walmart. I think they are anywhere from $30-$50, not a bad price to pay for the peace of mind, but don't make urself crazy worrying, it is not good for the baby! Take care, and good luck to you both!

First of all congrats! Please do not worry yourself so much! It sounds as though bubs is doing just fine. You are through the first trimester, so that is a good sign, and so long as you are keeping healthy, then your baby is too. As far as the chord becoming wrapped around bubs neck, if this does even happen it will be taken care of in the delivery room. Please do not stress yourself out. I know how you feel. Although I did not freak out about bubs health, I instead had regular nightmares during pregnancy about my baby being stolen etc. I used to wake up sobbing or screaming, and totally freak out my husband!
The best thing to do, is get yourself a couple of really good books that detail what to expect through each stage of pregnancy. Knowledge and a proper understanding of what is going on inside you will help to calm any fears. Good luck!

I agree with the first answer..total mommy mode. Most pregnant women have these concerns. Unfortunately you just have to be patient and keep a positive attitude. If there were magic solutions we would all use them.
Dont worry. Your harmones are raging and everything can make you panic. Get some books , go on with normal everyday life and try to enjoy this time! Also when your baby comes its worry from day one, dont let that get in the way of enjoying your little bundle of cuteness! congratulations!

Hi Girl! I am 14 weeks and 1 day:) I don't worry anymore cause I can finally feel him swimming around. I am going to buy a doppler so I can hear the heartbeat at home... sometimes you can't hear the heartbeat this young at home... but at the doctors it was pretty strong... so I want to pick one up this week... Keep positive.. give your body and baby good vibes. The chance of miscarriage now is DOWN 80%. Oh my god, we are having babies!!!!
