Pregnancy - December 2006

I'm 37 wks pregnant and worried as hell about a lot of things.
1. I'm getting a lot of discharge in my panty liners almost yellow in color. I've talked to my midwife and she said that I shouldn't be worried yet i read on another page that it could mean trouble for the baby... Am I just being a worry wart?

2.I've been in pain at night with a really tight feeling around my bottom half of my belly (wear he is sitting)

3. How will i know its a contraction or not? (i know that sounds dumb but it's my first pregnancy and I'm obviously nervous/anxious etc)

Also my partner thinks I'm doing to much house work but i tell him I'm just nesting... what do you think?

I thank you all in advance for answering this even though it may sound stupid, I just need to set my mind at ease.

Just standing alot and really hot weather. Tried to keep my feet up with a cold wet compress. No luck so far. The itching is killing me.

I have been getting contractions since Saturday night all the way up to now. But they are like 5, 7, 8, 10, 12, 5, minutes apart. No mucous plug, no water leakage, aching back but not painful. 39 weeks and 6 days. I don't want to go to the hospital, what should I do?

i dont have much pain,is it ok? and its very important for me to hav a natural giving birth,what if i wont dilate sufficently?(the head of the baby has already turned down)and i got abt 4.40 pounds in 2 weeks!!what can i do? tnx for all ur answers

I was scared i would lose more weight then gain it i am already tiny and i want to make sure the baby is growing healthy. I dont want not to gain the right amount of weight the baby needs. The Doctor said i have gall stones.

Hello, we've been ttc since july!!! and my period was due friday!!! starting thursday i started having a little cramps thought AF was coming for sure!!! woke up friday cramps like AF, started moving around then cramps went away the same happened sat morning and after noon and night!!! no cramps since then and now still NO PERIOD!!! any opinions will help!!! did anyone have this experience??? oh and took pregnancy test on firday afternoon!!!BFN!!!!

me and my boyfriend were doing it about 4 days ago. some how the condom slipped off and was inside me. we didnt notice it slipped off for about 2-3 minutes. he didnt ***. he might of just pre-cumed a little bit. but i heard that you have to have alot of sperm to make a baby? i havent taken anything. i dont want a baby right now.

I'm about 4 weeks pregnant. I moved out of my hometown for college and my parents and my boyfriend live there. I work 30 hours a week and go to school 18 hours a week. I'm afraid my lifestyle doesn't fit a child in my future. Because I believe I'm still too young to have a child and because the people closest to me live 200 miles away. I'm really lacking in childcare and support. Is an abortion right for me?

(Unfortunately I refuse to consider adoption)

yes my girlfriend recieve a 3month shot depo in sept 20th 2006
the doctor say wait two weeks so we did now she is been gain weight and around da middle of october 1 month there was unexpected blood just a little and it stop still gaing weight she feels dizzy ness or something and around november 2 Month it stops
again that weight gain now this is the last month Dec 31 of 2006 now we dont know if she supose to take da shot last week or last month now she gain weight her stomach hurts a little bit now could she be pregnant or somehting cuz i dont think this Depo works they gave her a 3month strong dose and also i dont know when is it last or over. . thank you for your Time

I have never had any problems with my tailbone before and did not injure it. It just started to hurt in about my fourth month. Two different doctors said it was because of the hormones that make all your joints 'loosen up' during pregnany.

Im a couple of weeks away from my due date and am still experiencing some pain...although I have learned to manage it and sit on soft things so it doesnt get irritated.

Has this ever happened to anyone else? Will this problem really go away after I have this child (3rd child)

my period was due dec 15th and still no sign. now i can feel a pebble size rounf knot in the middle of my lower abdomen. i also urinate more often now and my back has been hurting on and off all day. took 2 preg. tests last week but both came back negative. I am currently on my period. I think it will end either today or tomorrow (I have very sporadic periods). My boyfriend and I had sex and, without my knowledge, he wasn't wearing a condom and ejaculated inside me (had I known, I wouldn't be here asking this question).

I know, I am an idiot for not double checking or realizing it or something... but I am just a little freaked out now. The worst part is, I will have to wait another month until I know for sure.

I don't think I am ovulating, thus an egg isn't fertilized. What are my chances that I have a "bun in the oven"?

ok so like i haveent had intercourse or anything..but i have been like..,fingured. Like today. and later today i saw some brown discharge down there. And ive read when ur pregnant, you get spotting, or some blood down there. But i am like 98% sure that im not. is there any other reasons why I would have the brownish discharge?

How long did it take for you to give birth...from the time labor contractions began to when they ended (when you gave birth)? Did you do anything to get them started...other than wait?
