Is it possible for a pregnancy test to be worng when it shows up positive?

I know it can be + if you are taking drugs for hormones etc.. but I'm not. I'm just wondering, 'cos I've had a lot of symptoms, but I don't really feel pregnant as such...

I am 4 weeks and 5 days pregnant and last week my boobs were really sensitive, they hurt quite a bit... But now they dont really feel that sensitive anymore..Is this a bad sign.. or does it happen alot?

I am 5 weeks pregant and I told the father of the baby and we have been off and on for tI the last 2 years. The two before that was really good. we had talked about having a baby, but after we did it the right way. I want to have the baby, but I dnt want him if hes only going to be there because of the baby. Do I not talk to him or just let go?

My wife is in her 36-week pregnancy. We were told by our doctor that our child is in a breech presentation (feet pointing to the birth canal). What makes matter complicated is that the umbilical cord is wrapping around his neck. We were told that vaginal birth is dangerous & a cesarean should be performed. Is this true?

My cycles are usually 26 days and my lmp was 12/9. I had intercourse on 12/24 (very late in the day) and than on 12/28 i had a few hours of spotting - if that was do to ovulation could i have gotten pregnant from 12/24?

Okay i just had a baby three months ago and I had the normal after bleeding for 3 weeks afterward but haven't had anything else since. I am breastfeeding and I heard that that can cause a delay in a regular cycle. I have had unprotected sex with my husband, could I be pregnant? Or is my cycle messed up because of the new baby and breastfeeding??

A friend who lives in the UK has been trying to get pregnant for a long time. She wants invitro, but she is obese and her body is not suitable. She has already tried twice. They haver told her to go and lose weight and she is upset because she thinks they are victimising her because she is fat. But very thin people suffer the same problem. How should advisors explain this simple fact without upsetting people?

Last month I had spotting about a day before my period started. There was like, only a few drops of blood and it completely stopped for the rest of the night. The next morning the same thing happened again, but about two hours later my period started, which lasted for 6 days, two days later than usual. The flow was quite heavy... but could that be implantation bleeding?
For the past two weeks I've had nausea, but no vomitting. My breasts have grown rather tender and my nipples quite sensitive. My period should come today, but so far, nothing. Could I be pregnant? Or am I just going through a horrid phase of PMS? Since I'm recovering from a bout of flu, could that be messing with my menstrual cycle?
I've never had intercourse, but my BF and I have been engaged in some heavy petting. Some semen may have got into me somehow.
Please help! Thanks.

I had an ultrasound today when i saw my ob and he said i am week further a long that i thought (17 weeks). He couldnt quite tell the sex but said he was 80% sure he knew but would rather be 90% sure before he told us. Do you think that means it was more likely a boy or a girl? Just curious......i will love it either way i want to know but i dont.

I am 13weeks and up until now have had no problems with morning sickness...was one of the lucky ones but it seems that as soon as I hit my second trimester it started....(I am pretty sure I am in my 13th week if not then it is my 12th) so just curious if this has happened to others, it taken me by suprise.

ok so the last question i asked everyone told me to take a test. so i did. negitive. but it was expired. seeing as i am dead broke this week i cant afford to go buy another test right now. here are my syptoms. i cant figure out if its me getting my period, or if its another miscariage. if i have another miscariage it will be my third.any way here are my symptoms
i am nausiated
my breasts are sore, and larger
i have mild cramping but it feels different
2 days late for period.
tired durring the day, i take alot of naps

I noticed in these last couple of days..I've been feeling hungry every 2 hours or so...it's like I eat and then..I'm hungry again...I don't know what it could be..but does anyone ever have this happen?...I don't think I'm pregnant since I havent missed my period...has anyone ever had these symptoms...I'm a bit worried since I usually don't get hungry after I eat a big meal...I usually eat breakfast early in the morning and then don't get hungry until 6 hours later...I hope someone can help with these question...thank you...

I have been having pre- pregnancy symptoms for about two weeks now, breast tenderness, my stomach is upset, real tired, I took a pregnancy test yesterday- negitive- still haven't got my period I was due 09/15/06. I still have all the same symptoms. I usually don't get the breast tenderness until just a couple days before my period starts. what could be going on here?

i was raped by my old boyfriend, and it was on the fourth day of my period. i've been feeling sick to my stomach, bloated like my period is going to come on(but i just finished it) and i noticed my line on the bottom of my stomach is darker than usual.my breast hurt when i touch them,and i've been having cramps,and i stay hot all the time. do you think i'm pregnant. also it was unprotected.
