As the baby gets bigger and bigger there is less room for movement in there. It is perfectly normal to feel less movement the closer you get to delivery. As far as you stomach feeling lighter goes, maybe its because the baby dropped? IDK???

It is normal, baby has less space. At this stage he feels like a hand in a glove.
By now you should be at the doctors office ones a week, and the doctor will listen to the baby's heart and know if is normal or is going through fetal suffering.
Have a happy couple of weeks of pregnancy before labor and delivery.

Yes. it's normal, the further along you get towards the end the less space the baby has to move around. The reason your feeling lighter is because the baby has dropped down into birthing position.

Your baby moves down into the birth canal by this time, and movement is restricted, Congratulations, to be on the safe side, give your Doctor a call, and just let them know of your concern, when you go start going into labor, try to eat small light meals, and relax. Isn't it a Miracle. Have a Safe and Healthy delivery.

well i think it is because when i was pregnant my baby moved less and less when it was close to due date. If you are very concern just call your doc no harm in that they can tell you over the phone if it is normal or not.
Congrats to you and good luck.

baby is running out of room, that will make its movements slow. just get kick counts everyday if you are worried. im sure it is fine. when your tummy gets tight you are having contractions. braxton hicks probably which is like a practice contraction. your body is gearing up for the big day. congrats and happy pushing
