I only eat when I'm hungry...which is about 3 meals a day...sometimes only 2...I just noticed that I felt this way since yesterday...I hardly ate yesterday though, so I don't know if that could have been the reason I felt so hungry. But today I did eat a good portion for dinner...but I felt hungry two hours later..even though I ate a lot! oh yeah..

Drink liquids, sometimes we think we are hungry are is only that we are dehydrated. On hot summer days this is something that happens very often.
If you are feeling stressed you will also feel hungry.
Relax and lower the carbohydrate intake, this is because they are easier to digest than protein. If you have to eat a snack between meals eat cheese, ham, nut or fruit with all the fiber or some vegetables. Instead of the usual crackers, bread, bagged snacks or sweets.
If the problem persist consult an endocrinologist.
Good Luck and Bonn Appetite!

Anxiety can be a cause of this type of problem. There are two reasons for it, firstly your brain recognises that eating produces a feeling of satisfaction and comfort. Therefore it sends a message to your stomach that it needs food and provoking a physical reaction from your conscious thoughts to go and get some.

Once you have done this the comfort feeling kicks in and overides the feeling of anxiety (Usually before the food has digested enough to make a difference).

Secondly Anxiety, worry and sometimes anger puts your brain and body on full alert. Even standing still or laying down in this condition uses a lot of energy. You may not think you are in this state but take a deep breathe and consciously relax you muscles and body, you will immediatly feel the difference.

It may not be this with your self but sometimes we are so involved in life we fail to recognise our own state and feelings. If it is this try to put your problems into perspective and deal with them as individual problems but deal with them whatever the consequences. They are usually surmountable and easier if approached positively.

If it is not this you should consult a doctor.

are you eating a lot of carbs and high sugar foods?
that will keep you hungry, you need to eat a more balanced diet, with lean meats vegetables, and carbohydrates,so you won't get hungry as often.

Also take vitamins, just in case it's hard to eat healthy at first!

Well there are many reasons for the increase of the appetite, just to name a few: recent stress, depression, hormonal disbalance, changes in your digestive system, diabetes, etc.

You shoudl see your regular doctor for an evaluation.

depends. how old are you? you may be having a growth spurt of some sort. just don't eat of you aren't hungry. eat when you are. drink when you are thirsty. don't drink when you aren't thirsty. Keep a check on your weight and make sure you are eating healthy foods when you feel you are eating too much. Eat foods that take a long time to eat/chew.
