I am one centimeter dilated, 70% effaced and the baby was @ 0. After the doctor checked that she stripped my membranes and I had a lot of painful contractions last night.
How soon does it sound like I will go into labor?

I'm pregnant (8months) and of course that means its harder to sleep, but I was wondering if there are any methods to help you sleep like the warm milk thing. I can't drink warm milk it makes me sick but something similar. Don't say sex, I'm not allowed- Doc's orders cause I keep going into preterm labor. I just want to be able to go to bed at the same time as my husband and not end up staring at the wall for 6 hrs before I finally dose off, this has been the norm lately. We don't go to bed without each other and he is in the Army so he has to get up early everymorning and bed time is our together time lately since he is getting ready for Iraq. Please help I'm so tired of sleepless nights and I don't want to drug myself cause of the baby.

I have my 20 week ultrasound on Tuesday and I am really starting to get nervous that they will find something to be wrong. I had a miscarriage in Jan and they think that it was a blighted ovum....Everything has gone good with this pregnancy with no bleeding cramping and normal pregnancy symptoms. They found the heartbeat right away soon as they put the dopplar on my stomach when i Was 12 weeks at my first appointment...My uterus is measured 18 at my 17 week doctor appointment...They say everything seems fine..But I am starting to freak out that they will find something wrong, there is no history on either side of our family for birth defects either..should I worry about anything?????

I am 39 weeks along and my tummy is very tender to the touch. I am only 1 cm dialated I don't know how much effaced...I believe I am contracting. And the babies movement has decreased! Are these signs that labor is beginning...I have heard some of them are signs are labor beginning!

yesturday i experienced something very different, when i went to the bathroom i wiped and there was light pinkish orangish blood on the paper, very light and that was all i had until today when i went to the bathroom and i had two spots of a brownish color on my underwear and i wiped and it was there again still very very very light but a lil more than the day b4and it was more browish, it was only enough to show when i wiped (besides the two tiny spots) .. do u think this is implantation bleeding? has anyone experienced this? how was it for you? do u think im pregnant? my period started aug 13 and i had sex the 21 23 of aug and then the 6th of sept,

(plz no answes like "no ive never experienced this, or take a preg test"... i know i need to do that id just like straight info on implantation bleeding and whether u think i could be pregnant based on that)

this is normal for me again, and my periods are regular and HEAVY

My boyfriend and I have been together for 4.5 years. We are 21. We are "pre-engaged", just saving the $ for the wedding. And yesterday we found out we are pregnant. I don't like the idea of abortion, this is my first child for goodness sakes, but we are not in the position financially for a child right now...I have been stuggling with this, please help. He thinks abortion is the logical idea since we don't have the $ for the baby, my heart is getting in the way. What should we do?

I'm 34 weeks and had a glob of mucus come from my vagina and there is just a tiny bit left coming out, is this really the mucus plug because there was no blood!? and if so can I hold off having the baby until I'm 40 weeks? I'm on medication because I'm 2 centimeters dialated and was contracting but was put on a pill to stop contracting and will be taken off in 2 weeks. So really if this is the mucus plug I lost I can hold off having my baby until 40 weeks right?

Also my left breast is leaking a little fluid here and there what is it!?!?!!?!?!!!?

i did not miss my period. i got it normally heavy like i usually do (changing my pads atleast 6 times a day) for 5-6 days like normal. could i still be pregnant? my breasts arent tender .. im not tired all the time .. im not naseus im eating normally? if i was pregnant i would be around 5 weeks.. i just want to hear your input on this

I'm 34 weeks I started contracting in the doctors office, first they were 10 mins apart, then 7 mins apart. The prenatal doctor checked me and I was 2 centimeters dialated. I was sent to the hospitial. but they didn't tell a thing!! I stayed over nite and was put on this pill brethrine, and will be taken off this pill at 36 weeks.
Also when I came home from the hospitial I had this string of mucus come from my vagina and it's still mucusy but not as much very little. WHAT IS IT???
