If the sperm has fertilized the egg and a zygote has formed, said zygote/embryo has to implant in the uterine wall in order to continue development.
As the uterine wall is heavily vascularized at this point in the menstrual cycle, this implantation often results in a small amount of blood being passed.
Generally, it's just a bit of spotting.

When the newly fertilized egg "implants" into the wall of the uterus. Basically when the tiny baby attaches to you, sometimes you can bleed a little bit because it's making a connection to your body. Where that implantation happens eventually develops into the placenta. :)

its basically like planting a seed inside u...sometimes u dun get implantation bleeding like i dint..but yes sometimes u do get it..its nothing to be afraid of...its basically just telling u ok sister ur pregnant..sometimes it mite last fr a day but thts it and sometimes its just spotting
