Im on the pill, and ive been told if you get pregnant on it and you dont know then you keep taking the pill it can affect your baby or make you have a miscarriage. Whats true???

No but if you do become pregnant while taking the pill stop taking it right away and go to your dr. because taking the pill while pregnant can hurt your baby.

You have nothing to worry about. I got pregnant while on the pill. I didn't realize I was pregnant until about 6 weeks along, and I had been taking the pill every day. No harm was done. The baby was born healthy and full term.

actually, there's a theory that women who continue to take the pill before realizing they are pregnant are less likely to miscarry. The pill at it's most basic function mimics pregnancy, which prevents ovulation. The thought is that the pill provides a little bit extra hormone that the body is already producing.

The baby will likely be fine.
You will stop taking the pill as soon as you know you are pregnant. (Why would you keep taking it, right?) And you will be responsible, and find out whether you're pregnant or not as soon as you have reason to believe you might be.
The odds are that a few weeks of exposure are not going to do any damage.

Stop taking the pill and find out if the baby is Ok. If not you will have to make up your mind from there.

Both. I lost 2 when I was on the pill. My coworker has a son with physical issues that they think are related to her taking the pill while PG. For the record neither of us missed a cycle so we had no clue we were PG.
