Yes, you could be. You need to be on the pill for one full cycle before you can rely on it for birth control. You can also get pregnant when you are on your period.

Yes you could very well be pregnant. You start ovulating about 2 weeks after your period starts. Sperm can stay active in your body about 7 days. Actually, you were probably ovulating a few days after the 24th...so the sperm may have had a chance to fertilize one of (hopefully not two of) your eggs.
The pill needs at least a whole 28 day cycle to begin to work although sometimes (if u start on day of period) they do start working right away. But the best thing to do is be safe and careful. You sound young otherwise you wouldn't be asking this serious question here, so i hope you understand the impact a child would have on your life. AND i seriously believe that having an abortion will scar you for life emotionally and make it very difficult for you to have babies in the future.
I am speaking from experience here, please believe me. I'm 27, have a 23 month old son and twins on the way and i will always regret my decision when i was 20 to end a beating heart. I ended up slashing my wrists and getting 20 stitches that same year. I just wanted to feel pain. Not really die, but i felt like my spirit was gone.
What i'm trying to say is if you are not ready for children, please BE VERY CAREFUL with your body and don't let some guy ruin your life just to get off. Not only that, but do you know what diseases he has?
Take care and do some reading on this subject, ok?
Good luck and best wishes. :-)
By the way, if you start feeling menstrual cramps and see no blood, that is a sign of pregnancy. See a doctor soon. :)

Ok R U Trying 2 get pregnant, sounds like it to me. If you miss ur period go get a test and while ur at it get a test for STDs, some men (not all men) do lie about things like that just to get laid. I kno my daugther waz conceived after he said "I can't have kids" also you need 2 b careful the pill may keep u from getting pregnant but what about the rest of the stuff? The pill does not cover HIV or Herpes.

It is absolutely possible. You can get pregnant while you have your period and for the best results, you should use an alternative method of birth control for the first month. If your periods are regular and this next one comes late, wait about five days and then test.

Ok, first things first: NO MORE UNPROTECTED SEX! If you are doing this with multiple partners, you risk disease - including HIV, not just pregnancy. It's highly unlikely that you could possibly be pregant from the first time, however the rest is possible. If you are worried, please take a test. Also, stop the unprotected sex for your health, mental and physical.

should not get pregent if you are having period. dont think so. Unless your next period is coming up, then be cautious.
But does having unprotected sex also put you into a risk of getting sexually transmitted disease.
