If I took a pregnancy test this evening and it came up negative should I take another one in the morning when I first wake up or should i wait?

I would wait to take another one 3 days from now, in the morning preferrably. This way your body has time to build up the hcg hormone. Also, first morning urine is best because the urine has been held in your system for at least 4 hours therefore its more concentrated.

It depends on how late your period is. If you are only a day or so away from your period you could still be pregnant and the hormone just might not be strong enough to detect in your urine in the evening. The First morning urine is the best b/c you haven't gone to the restroom for a while and so there is more of the hormone there. If you feel like there is a good chance you are pregnant it isn't going to hurt to take another test in the morning.

Its ok to take a pregnancy test tonight .. then do another one. Just keep in mind that sometimes you can get a false negative or false positive. They have tests now that can determine your HCG levels very close to your 1st missed period. When I was pregnant I took 2 to be sure.. the first one said negative. I didnt believe it so I took another one a few days later and it said positive. Ultimately I went to the dr for a blood test and it was positive.

It depends. If your period is late and you have reason to think you are pregnant, taking another test in the morning wouldn't be a waste because they are more accurate with first morning urine. If you want definite results go to your doctor for a blood test. The results will take a couple of days but at least you will know for sure.

Wait a while. It doesn't work until you're about 4 weeks pregnant anyway. If you think you may have gotten pregnant a week ago, then you're wasting your money and time.
If you've missed a period, then go to the doctor. I once was late by two months, my pg tests came back negative, so I went to the doctor. I found out that I failed to ovulate....so you never know.

wait three days then take test when you first wake up. If you have the hcg hormone it will show higher the first time you go to the bathroom in the day.

Take one in the morning as that is when there is the most hormones in your urine, although most tests are accurate enough that I would be ok with the negative result.

In the morning is best. That is when the pregnancy hormone is the most concentrated. Good luck hun.
