honey i know that you are stressed. i know that you are ready to have this baby. those feelings that you are feeling? those are the feelings of the baby really low. the baby is so ready to come too. If the pain is severe go to the ER or your ob/gyn. most women know when they need help. its your body and your baby. you can do it! Good luck!

How do you know that it's not contractions? Every woman is different, and every pregnancy and labor are not the same. Try timing these pains to see if they have a certain time in-between pain. I don't think that you are an idiot a**hole. You could be in labor. 40 weeks is full-term and 39 is really close. Maybe you should mosey on down to the hospital and let them check you out. I hope this helps.

depends on the pain if it's low pressure pain it's from the head pushing on the cervix. If it's not pressure more like cramps that's kind of normal to I'm only 24 weeks get the cramp pain my doc said it's just the womb adjusting to the baby. Pressure that starts turning into contractions can be labor you are due so could be early labor. I know not much help if your very bothered call your doc my doc has a 24 hour on call line anytime you can talk to someone at his clinic. If you have no on call # you can always go to the ER.

I would call my doctor & make an appointment. Are you carrying this baby lower than your first? Does the pain run down the back of your rear & leg? That could be a nerve. I had shooting pains in my pelvic region with my son because I was carrying him sooooo low. With my daughter I carried her higher so there was no pelvic pain. Nothing to freak on but call your doctor to voice youre concern.

I had the same problem with both my children. It's because the baby is getting ready for birth and is positioning itself. It is also could be small contractions which is normal in your last couple of weeks.

Easy there sweetie don't let them get you so pumped. Like I said your baby is moving into the birth canal so your pelvic bones are stretching. Try taking a warm bath, your gonna' deliver soon.

Well it could be that the baby has dropped. When my babies all dropped, three pregnancies, my pelvic area was killing me. Also, you could be starting to dilate without feeling any contractions. But your probably around 1 centi.

tut!!!tut!!! at this rate you're likely to raise your blood pressure. Anyway, you need to be on bed rest because the weight of the baby is bearing down on your pelvis. The baby is low. Lie on your back without the pillow under your head and prop up your feet on pillows higher than your head, you will feel better. You really should try to stay off your feet a lot in fact you really need to be on bed rest. SEE YOUR DOCTOR

p.s you can also try to put your feet on top of the bed head (if you have one)

it might be braxton hicks contractions.or the baby is just pressing on something. but at 39 weeks you just might as well go to the doctor. it could be labor pains. they are not always going to feel the same.
