Pregnancy - August 2006

In early pregnancy one of the symptoms is heartburn caused through indigestion. I quite often suffer from indigestion anyway because i bolt my food. I seem now though to get heartburn with it - would this be a pregnancy symptom? Also i a few weeks ago i was suffering with cramps and twinges - these have calmed down now but when i eat food i get the odd twinge in my stomach and back - anyone else had this?

Been trying for a baby, pinpointed LH surge about a week ago. Now feel intense hunger even after I have just eaten and wake up in the night starving, going to the toilet all the time and my stomach is really really bloated! but no aches in my boobs or sickness, I also feel so tired can't get up in the morning. could these signs be pregnancy signs or is it period signs which is due on tues....

I have always had very pertruding ovaries which i can feel and even more so when im due on. Im on the pill at the mo and my period is due in a week and a half. I cannot recall when i have my period whether or not my stomach is hard. I believe i could be 7 weeks pregant and have been having symptoms for a while. I have taken two tests but they were negative. I have just gone to the loo and my lower abdomen is very hard - has anyone else experienced this at about 7 weeks gone?

hello everyone...i reallllllllly need ur advise and help.Please don;t tell me to go see a doctor or get a test that much would be obvious but i want to hear ur input.I am a virgin and i have never had sex, last night my boyfriend insisted that he feel me and pressed his penis head against the entrance of my vagina he started and pushing without entering me.Then he came( i think) and he did not remove his penis when he did.is it possible that i could get pregnant because of this.we did not use any protection and no pill and i don;t remember when my next period is although i feel it will be some time soon.Please help

Do you think it is fair on someone if she finds out she is pregnant and want to keep the baby, but her husband/fiance/boyfriend says he will leave her if she keeps it? What if the man was leaving because he didn't want kids yet, or the couple weren't finanically ready (even though their parents would help out)? Is the man not taking responsibility is the child is definitely his?

I'm just 18 years old and I'm 17wks preg. All my family gives me all the support, even my boyfriend he loves me and the baby with all his heart. But I'm always feeling worried and nervous on certain things that I know I shouldn't have. Ex last week I was obsessed that I have hiv! I know that I'm not a slut and I just had 2 other relationships in the past. I just keep worrying on all the things about my baby.. being sensitive for nothing.. crying for nothing. Am I freaking out? Or I guess these are just hormonal changes and stress! I thought of taking the hiv test so I wouldn't keep on stressing about it.

If you have got pregnant on the pill which obviously some of you have its meant that you must have ovulated during the time you took it. If this is the case then in the past when you have been taking it and possibly ovulated but not happened to have sex have you had a period whilst on it? If you are confused by this question pleae refer to my last one "on the pill"

Im on the pill and take it slightly differently from most people whereby i take 3 packs in a row and then take a 7 day break. I have read that its still possible to get pregnant if you are on the pill - does that apply to me though because i have just read the following on a website:-

"For a definite confirmation that you're pregnant, the implanted embryo has to be generating sufficient quantities of hCG for it to be detected by a pregnancy test. Whilst this is generally likely to be the around the day your period is due, a new study found that in up to 10% of pregnancies, the embryo was not implanted by that stage and therefore a negative Home Pregnancy Test (HPT) result was given"

which would mean i have to wait another 6 weeks before the embryo attaches itself - surely it would die or something by then? I sound really thick - but a) im not a doctor and b) biology was my strongest subject at school.

I have a 1981 chevy ambulance. I also have a passion for helping people and have finally finished restoring this ambulance. I would like to know if it would be possible to start an abortion service sort of like how an ice cream man delivers ice cream. I would like to perhaps be able to go to your front door discreetly without shame and perform the abort for less than half the regular cost of going to a clinic. I don't want to just wing it with a coathanger, but perform it as humanely and safely as possible. My friend jokingly said I should blast lynard skynard over the loadspeaker like a renegade ice cream man but I am not about gimmicks. Do I need a medical license to do this?

I am confused bc i did the home test correctly and it was a digital test that says pregnant ot not so i didn't read it worng. But my blood work came back negative and it has been a week and i still haven't started could the blood work be wrong ?

i am 6 weeks delayed, i take pregnanct test, i'ts positive but when i take my trans vaginal test there's no sign of gestational sac. my doctor said it is an incomplete abortion it is possible that i'm still pregnant and the test that i have taken is not that accurate?

I had my first internal today and all he said was I was a fingertip dialated (& he could feel babies head).

so would "a fingertip dialated" be 1 cm or less?
Also..is it normal to spot and have an increase in contractions after an internal??
