Pregnancy - August 2006

I thought by now that he was at least suppossed to check me and make sure nothin is dialated or anything.... I was at the hospital being monitored last month and the nurse checked me and told me that I was a centimeter.. Is i normal for my Dr not to be checking down there even at 38 weeks ?

ok i am on the pill and had sex 1 day after my peroid stopped and then started spotting 4 days later..it lasted about a dand and a half and then stopped and i had cramping and then the bleeding started again 4 days later only worse and lasted longer this time ... i have also been under a great deal of stress and was wondering could it be that or could it be ovuatiion breaktrhough or implaton bleeding how ever i think 4 days it too early for impaltion bleeding i think!

ok i am on the pill had some spotting 4 days after sex and again like 1 week after sex and i am rly horny soo i think it might be just ovuation (PMS) stuff going on . cuz i think thats to early for implation bleeding and if i am on the pill i think it mite jsut be break trhough bleeding...and it also happened b4 like the bleeding and the crampingg

Ok i think i may have been experiening oviation bleeding(breakthrough bleeding) i am on the pill and it would be too soon after i had sex to be implation bleeding i think soo can some one tell me what both look like please and if cramping means implation or ovualtion. Ps this isnt the first time this has happened to but b4 i didnt have unprotcted sex ( with my bf of 4 years) some one give me some imput on this please!

lying down in bed at night? I was diagnosed with an enlarge heart valve due to what they believe is pregnancy induced hypertension but have not had high blood pressure with this pregnancy. It doesn't matter what position I am lying in and its not every beat that pounds hard, its very infrequent. Please don't tell me to go see a doctor, I KNOW THAT ALREADY and will do so, I am just looking for some answers. Thanks so much!!!

all my joints ache, i have a headache. I feel terrible. I am 38 weeks pregnant, my cervix has softened and i am dilated to a one centimeter. Been having contractions all day, but they are not coming together. they are still irregular. dr said take tylenol and rest but i just want to know if labor is coming soon. I am 23. had unprotecd sex with my bf from july 17th after my last period till up to now. I was on the pill but skipped it for a week (21 pills 1 week not taking it in order to get my period another week skipped 2 weeks altogether) and yes i am trying to get pregnant i just use the pill to clear up bad acne i had in the past. And i dont want them to return..I had sore nipples for 2 weeks then it went away that never happen before so that is why i am asking. i got dizzy and had camps but only lasted for about 20 min or so .I am back on the pill for about 3 weeks now but stop it agian cos my period is suppose to come today or tomorrow.Nothing yet accept last sunday i had some pinkish color when wiping myself which i think is spotting and still kinda there. I took an ept knowing it might be to early last week and there was a really faint positive u can hardly see it but only showed up 20min i know it should be 10 min then it could be an avap line after that.
So am i or not?

Hi ladies I am 381/2 weeks pregnant and I am exausted with being pregnant. This is my 4th child and I keep feeling like I am in labor but when I go to the hospital(last night) they tell me that I haven't even dialated and the baby is still high up in the uterus. What the hell is going on in there? Why won't he come down? What can I do to get the process started? My last son was born by induction at 42 weeks I hope this is not another pregnancy like that because I felt like I was going to drop dead!! Can you actually go into labor and not even know it Ladies or men share some of you or your mates similiar experiences, make it interesting this helps me pass time and not think about how long he is taking!!

I am 11 weeks pregnant... and I do not like my doctor, I can not understand a word he says and when he does check ups on me he does the "uh-huh" or "mhhmm" sounds. He didn't explain to me why he was pressing on my stomach and abdomen which really hurt. Think it's time to find a new doctor?
