I am 23. had unprotecd sex with my bf from july 17th after my last period till up to now. I was on the pill but skipped it for a week (21 pills 1 week not taking it in order to get my period another week skipped 2 weeks altogether) and yes i am trying to get pregnant i just use the pill to clear up bad acne i had in the past. And i dont want them to return..I had sore nipples for 2 weeks then it went away that never happen before so that is why i am asking. i got dizzy and had camps but only lasted for about 20 min or so .I am back on the pill for about 3 weeks now but stop it agian cos my period is suppose to come today or tomorrow.Nothing yet accept last sunday i had some pinkish color when wiping myself which i think is spotting and still kinda there. I took an ept knowing it might be to early last week and there was a really faint positive u can hardly see it but only showed up 20min i know it should be 10 min then it could be an avap line after that.
So am i or not?

ohh and i never had very light cramping before my period and i have it now... and i am going to the bathroom more often.. and know i dont have std or a urine problem
and in the afternoon i seem more tired.
i dont really have other simptoms

I am 21 and a mother of one. First of all, I know acne is bad, but the safest thing you can do is stop the birth control IMMEDIATELY. If you're trying to get pregnant, then you dont have to worry about that side effect, but birth control can cause some serious problems if you're pregnant and using it. Take another test, because if there are low levels of the Pregnancy hormones at the time of the test then it would be less likely to show up on the test, and would possibly cause a faint positive like you mentioned. All of the symptoms you've spoken of are reminiscent of the symptoms I had. Also, if your cervix is sore, especially during intercourse, that is a very likely sign. Also look for your veins to be more visually pronounced, especially on your chest. It looks a lot like a green road map, lol. But, the best thing you can do is go to a doctor. Even a general practitioner/family doctor or an urgent care center. They can do a blood test to be positive, and if nothing else, it will give you peace of mind. But stopping the birth control is VERY important. It can cause birth defects and miscarriage. Im not trying to scare you, just to caution you. There are other methods for acne. I suffer from it pretty badly myself. Unfortunately, you would have to stop almost any treatment once you become pregnant anyways.

if you are trying to get pregnant you really need to stop taking the pill.....if you are pregnant right now and keep taking the pill it can harm your baby.....and as for the pregnancy test take another one and read the instructions because you should only read a test up to 3-5 minutes after it is taken. i am not trying to be rude at all i am just concerned so that is why i am going to say that i think that you should do some research on birth control pills and pregnancy maybe talk to your ob/gyn because what you are doing doesn't make any sense ft you want a baby.

oh shyt! you're back?!? you've been like "omg, i think i am" "Could I be?" for like 3 weeks now! You need some serious help. Stay on the BC permanently and go see a shrink!!!!!!!
That is a doctor who treats patients with mental illness! Stop hogging up the board with the same freaking questions over and over again!
And just let me say if you are "TRYING" to get pregnant then being on the pill is a stupid way to go about it.

With a faint positive you could very well be pregnant. DO NOT take any more birth control pills until you find out for sure. The hormones in them are not good for the fetus if you are pregnant.

Your best bet is to get a real pregnancy test from a hospital or doctors office. It'll cost a bit more, but considering all of the things you need to do and need to avoid if you are pregnant, it will be well worth it. This is a very important thing, a human life may depend on it. Sorry if I sound preachy, but I feel strongly about this.

wait about a week take a different type of test then you'll know or go to the clicic get a free test or blood test
