Pregnancy - July 2006

I have two other kids my youngest is 5 and I don't remember having any of this pain. I have acheness and some sharp pains in my shoulders and neck area.All I can think about is an ectopic pregnancy.

I missed my period last month for the first time in my life (22 y.o.) I am on the pill and as per the instructions in the pamphlet indicated, I continued taking the next months pill cycle. Anyway, I got my period this month. It might also be important to note that I took my pills regularly. The only mess-up I had was I took on 4 hours after my regular time and also had sex that day. Does anyone know why this may have happened? I had just moved to a very hot climate, and also graduated from college with no job and so was very stressed. Is there any other biological reason for this to have happened?

-friend swears she hasn't been with her husband since last October
-has been taking birth control possibly missing a pill or two
-thought she had a period as late as this April
-two pregnancy tests said she wasn't pregnant, but the doctor says she is
-just felt kicking a few days ago

Something isn't adding up! Either she just got pregnant and is hiding something. Why?? I know of no reason for her to lie to ME about it...though maybe her husband she has been wanting to divorce. ....or there's something really out of the ordinary going on. Is it possible she is telling the truth? Could she really be almost full term and still THINK she had periods until April? Is it all a lie because she knows I'm religious and will give her a hard time if she was with someone else?

Let me explain: The ones who say "Could I be pregnant?" "How pregnant could I be?" or that describe typical pregnancy symptoms and then ask us what we think. Doesn't anyone teach their children about sex and pregnancy anymore?

Hello, this may be strange but I need to know if anyone may be able to help. I have been experiencing all signs and symptoms of pregnancy but when I took a HPT the results were neg. I am irregular, I can spend 6mnths without seeing it, the last time I had it which was in june, It last the full six days however, the the 4days were very light. Because I took the hpt and came back negative, I do not know if i should see a doctor.The weirdest thing is that my belly was pretty petite (flat) recently it has been growing but not in a fatty way. Can someone give me some suggestions. (I do not believe that I am using the restroom more often nor do I feel like i am eating more) Could it be all in my head, even the change of my belly?

I stared to bleed a day ago with kind of a light period. No cramping or any pain. I went to dr. yesterday and he checked the size of my uterus, it hasn't grown since the last time I was there which was 5 days ago and he can't hear baby heartbeat yet. He said he thinks we should by now. I am about 8 weeks according to last period. If I am bleeding, could I be having a miscarriage? I don't feel like it. Only sign for me is bleeding and I still feel pregnant. I'm confused and scared. It's emotionally stressing me out. I go back to dr. on Monday and dr. will check me again and see if any changes. I'm not having heavy bleeding like a miscarriage. No blood clots. Help me.

I have been taking the pill for three months now. I started taking it on a monday, therefore everytime my pack is done its monday. I got my period on a wednesday and it was gone by monday. I took the first pill of my pack on monday night like i always do. That night I also had sex. The next night i was scheduled to take my pill at 9 like i always do. I left my bag somewhere and couldn't get to it until about 11 the next day. Thats when i took my tuesday pill. That night I also took my wednesday pill. Im wondering if there is a chance i can be pregnant. I used a condom but i heard if you miss a pill after you period has just ended then the chances of becoming pregnant are greater. I missed the pill AFTER i already had sex. I had sex on monday and took my mondy pill but missed my tuesday pill. I then took my tuesday pill at 11 am on wed and then took my wed pill at 9 oclock that night. Did i handle this correctly? (this was my first time ever missing a pill)
