36 weeks pregnant 2 centimeters dialated and 70 %effaced as of 2 days ago with my 4th child

he is not kicking hardly at all today and ive got the cleaning bug today and yesterday cant stop myself

Hard to really tell. Remember that the kicking will stop beforee birth so the baby can rest befor the journey into the world. It will be soon now that you will be holding your beautiful baby in your arms. Hopefully not before another few weeks so the lungs can develop a little more as that is the last thing to develop. I was at a 5, 80% effaced at 38 weeks. My doctor induced then. At 36 weeks, I was at a 3, 80% effaced. In other words, it doesn't really matter right now. You could go anytime, or you could be 4 weeks waiting. No way to tell.
I would hope you would wait at least 2 more weeks to get to full term. Sometimes a 36 weeker can have a lot of problems with their lungs. 37 weeks is better then 36, but still not full term. Try and hold on for a few more weeks at least.

Won't be long but .... hard to tell. I only had two pregnancies - both long labor (I thought the second one would be less but it wasn't - go figure). I was 2 cm for a while. 70% effaced though.....
Remember, the baby will stop kicking before birth so it can rest before the labor starts - how's the kicking going?

I was 2 cm dilated at 32 weeks by 36 weeks I was 4 cm dilated. I delivered my son 3 days before my due date. You could go a few more weeks or go tomorrow. There's really no way to tell..unless your water breaks or contractions start..then you'll know for sure. good luck!

At your stage I went 1 more week. She came out at 8 lb 12 oz! But she was my first and so far my only child, you sound like you have much more experience than I would! Congrats!
