I missed my period last month for the first time in my life (22 y.o.) I am on the pill and as per the instructions in the pamphlet indicated, I continued taking the next months pill cycle. Anyway, I got my period this month. It might also be important to note that I took my pills regularly. The only mess-up I had was I took on 4 hours after my regular time and also had sex that day. Does anyone know why this may have happened? I had just moved to a very hot climate, and also graduated from college with no job and so was very stressed. Is there any other biological reason for this to have happened?

It is possible that the stress you were experiencing caused you to miss your period. If you had a normal period this month, I wouldn't worry about it. If this happens often though, you should talk to your doctor.

You should see a Doctor. No birth control is 100%.
