You may have felt it already but did not recognize what it was as the movements are very slight to begin with. There is a calender that tells you what is going on with the baby on a week to week basis. Click on the link below and check it out. Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is this your first baby? If so, he's probably moving, but you don't know what to look for. At this point, your baby is still very small. I think a lot of first time moms (myself included, when I was pregnant with my first son) expected a kick/punch/shuffling around to feel like it does when you're 8 or 9 months pregnant...it's a feeling that's impossible to mistake. :) At your stage, your baby moving should feel like butterflies in your stomach, only lower. Or possibly gas (not the painful kind, but the kind of gas where you can feel it moving through your intestines...just before it comes out. Sorry to be graphic, lol.)
With my second son, I knew what to expect/look for as far as movement. I wasn't feeling him move at all, but when I had my 20 week ultrasound, he was bouncing off the walls...I just couldn't feel it because he was so small. :)
Have you had your routine ultrasound yet? If so, you should have seen your baby moving. If not, don't worry...if something was wrong, you'd know it by now (cramping, bleeding, etc.) Don't worry...I'm sure your baby is fine!

If it's your first it's completely normal. You should be feeling him/her anytime now. And you probably might have already but like I said if it's your first it's hard to tell. Feels like a little bubble or a swishing of a little fish, is the best way I can describe it for you. So most of the time you may think it was just gas or a little air etc. but it's usually the baby. Congrats!!!

If this is your fist baby no it is not abnormal. I know a lady that had a baby and it never moved, and this was her 5th child.
