Im almost 40 weeks and have a feeling I will have to get induced. What happens? You pick a day and just go into the hospital and they hook you up to pitocin? Im just curious.

I was just curious if you could find out if you were pregnant after taking several test at home and have them negative the like a month later it be positive. How common is this and how come it takes awhile to come up postive. Just wondering cause I took a test at home several times and it said negative but, my doctor thinks I might be pregnant with all the symptoms I told her I have. Thanks

I have a son he's four years old he was not a breech child and my girlfriend gave birth naturally to him. In January my girlfriend gave birth to a little girl and she was breech with a c-section. My girlfriend at the time of the pregnancy said it was another child (Maybe Fraternal twins) that do not make it. And really twins doesn't run in my family is it possible that the child could be mine?

I missed a pill early on in my cycle. I was meant to be due for my period tuesday, but it still hasn't come. I am never late, even if i've missed a pill. Through the week my breasts have been tender, and I have had a horrible sensation in my stomach and a taste in my mouth like I am constantly about to throw up. I did a pregnancy test early and it said negative, then I did 2 yesterday, one said positive the other negative. I was feeling these symptoms before I even realised I was late. I can't get to see a doctor until next week. Is it possible to be pregnant and feel it this early? I have always been able to feel my period, when it starts to happen all the way through. This feeling is completely unlike any I have ever felt. I feel really happy, but totally scared at the same time. Would missing the pill have pushed back my ovulation? Could I be really pregnant?

I had a high risk pregnancy with my first son and ended up having to have a c-section. I am now 36 weeks pregnant and am told I will need another c-section. Due to the risk and the size of the baby. I feel like I am missing out on something wonderful.

Does anyone else who has had to have a nessasary c-section feel they are not really a good mom or they have missed out on something?

I know that this is essential so that I have a healthy baby and less risk on him. But I just wish I could have had my children natural.

I am starting my 5th week of pregnancy today and I have had a little very very light pinkish discharge (sometimes maybe a touch darker). It seems to be only when I go to the bathroom and wipe ( not in underwear). It's not very much at all, and I am a little crampy but nothing major at all. I haven't had sex or anything like that. I am a worry wart! Is this normal?? Has anybody else had this happen?

Last period on May 5, 2006 just in case that info is needed. This probably would have been my period week, but 100% sure. I did call the doctor and he said it isn't unusual for this to happen, and everything could be just fine, but he couldn't say that 100%. He also said unless I was bleeding really heavy and had really severe cramps, I should just wait and see my doctor after the weekend. ( My appt is Monday)!

Thanks.

I delivered my daughter through c-section 16 months ago. I am pregnant again and it seems like I will be delivering on her birthday. The C-section was very painful for me, and the recuperation was kind of hard also. I know I will not be given an option anymore as to delivering vaginally, but I want to know why. I am about five weeks and monday is my first visit to be ob/gyn. I will be asking him, but I would like to know what other people think. Thanks
